A brake device for an elevator system and a testing method thereof. The brake device includes: a fixed member; a moving member movable between a retracted position and a braking position so as to realize switching of the moving member between an attracting state and a braking state, respectively; an elastic member to provide elastic force tending to push the moving member toward the braking position; a coil configured to produce an electromagnetic force tending to drive the moving member to move toward the retracted position when energized; and a controller configured to control a change of a magnitude of the electromagnetic force produced by the coil in a process of testing the spring force of the elastic member, and to acquire corresponding information of the electrical signal for controlling the magnitude of the electromagnetic force when the moving member switches from the attracting state to the braking state.

Brake device for elevator system and a test method thereof

A brake device includes: a fixed member; a moving member which is movable between a retracted position in which the moving member is adjacent to the fixed member and separate from a braking member, and a braking position in which a friction plate of the moving member contacts the braking member and provides a braking force to the braking member; an elastic member connected between the moving member and the fixed member; a coil disposed in the fixed member; and a controller which provides an operating current to the coil when the elevator is in normal operation, wherein the controller is configured to implement a test mode in which the controller provides a test current less than the operating current to the coil and determines whether the moving member has been attracted to the retracted position.

Brake device, a test method for the brake device and an elevator system

An elevator braking device and an elevator system are provided by the present disclosure. The elevator braking device includes: a fixed frame; a floating bracket, which is disposed on the axial guide of the fixed frame and movable along the axial guide; a movable plate supported by the floating bracket, the movable plate having a second friction plate on a second side of the brake disc; an actuator; and a position self-adjusting member which includes a magnetic portion to act on the magnetic member on the floating bracket such that after the braking state is released, the floating bracket tends to move towards a balanced position, thereby reducing a difference between a first gap Gbetween the first friction plate and the brake disc and a second gap Gbetween the second friction plate and the brake disc.
