An electrical connector includes a body having multiple accommodating holes running vertically therethrough, and multiple conductive terminals vertically movably accommodated in the accommodating holes. Each accommodating hole has upper and lower position limiting surfaces. Each conductive terminal includes a flat plate portion having an upper position limiting portion located above the upper position limiting surface, and a lower position limiting portion located below the lower position limiting surface, so as to limit a vertical movement of the conductive terminal. Upper and lower elastic arms are formed at a rear side the flat plate portion. Each of the upper and lower elastic arms has a corresponding contact portion to correspondingly abut a first electronic component and a second electronic component. A through slot extends from the upper elastic arm through the flat plate portion to the lower elastic arm.

Electrical connector having terminals with reduced height

An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple conductive terminals. Each conductive terminal has: a main body portion; an elastic arm bending and extending upward from the main body portion; a through slot running through the elastic arm, forming a first elastic arm and a second elastic arm at two opposite sides thereof; and a contact portion bending and extending upward from the elastic arm. A width of the first elastic arm is greater than a width of the second elastic arm. The contact portion defines a virtual center line along an extending direction thereof. A gap between an inner side wall of the first elastic arm on a side thereof adjacent to the through slot and the center line is smaller than a gap between an inner side wall of the second elastic arm on a side thereof adjacent to the through slot and the center line.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes an upper insulating shell and a lower insulating shell, and at least one conductive terminal. The conductive terminal has an elastic portion located between the upper insulating shell and the lower insulating shell. The elastic portion has a first elastic arm and a second elastic arm. An upper connecting portion is located above the first elastic arm and the second elastic arm and accommodated in the upper insulating shell. The upper connecting portion extends to form an upper contact portion protruding out of the upper insulating shell. A lower connecting portion is located below the first elastic arm and the second elastic arm and accommodated in the lower insulating shell. The lower connecting portion extends to form a lower contact portion protruding out of the lower insulating shell.
