An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts retained thereto. Each contact includes a retaining section, a contacting section in front of the retaining section, and a mounting section behind the retaining section. A plurality of independent glue reservoirs are formed on a rear side of the housing via crossing partitions. A tiny passage is formed in an exterior face of the partition to communicate the neighboring glue reservoirs so as to assure the even/same height of the hardened glue blocks in respective glue reservoirs.

Electrical connector

An electrical contact for extending through a hole in the printed circuit board in an insertion direction, includes a retention plate and a leg extending therefrom. The leg includes an insertion section and a deformation section. The deformation section includes a pair of opposite wide side faces in a first direction perpendicular to the insertion direction, and a pair of opposite narrow side faces in a second direction perpendicular to both the insertion direction and the first direction, and a cavity recessed from one wide side face in the first direction. The cavity forms a first end located closer to the insertion end of the leg in the insertion direction and equipped with a cone shape thereof, and a second end located opposite to the first end and closer to a rectangular retention section and equipped with an arc shape thereof. The cavity forms a trapezoidal cross-section.

Electrical contact

An electrical contact of an electrical connector includes a mounting leg for being retained within a through hole of the printed circuit board wherein the mounting leg is tubular and is radially deformable to abut against an interior surface of the through hole. The mounting leg is radially thinned in thickness to confront the interior surface of the hole. The mounting leg is formed by rolling a metal plate with a C-shaped cross-section thereof. There are two thinned areas of the mounting leg, symmetrically located by two sides of the slit of the C-shaped cross-sectional configuration.

Deformable tubular contact with radial recess around contacting region

An electrical contact includes a compliant tail defining a pair of opposite first main face and second main face, and a pair of opposite first side face and second side face linked between the first main face and the second main face. The opposite first side face and second side face are bulged for engagement with an interior surface of the corresponding through hole. A pair of first through holes and a pair of second through holes extend through both the first main face and the second main face. The first through holes are configured with an elongated configuration while the second though holes are located around two opposite upper and lower ends of the first through holes.

An electrical connector assembly including a first connector and a second connector mated with each other. The first connector includes an insulative housing with a mating cavity sounded by opposite top wall and bottom wall, two opposite side walls and a rear wall. The rear wall forms opposite inner surface and outer surface. A plurality of contacts are retained to the housing and include the contacting sections exposed in the mating cavity and soldering sections exposed outside of the housing and behind the rear wall. A plurality of inner partitions are formed on the interior surface of the rear wall and extend into the mating cavity to separate the contacting sections of the neighboring contacts, respectively. A plurality of outer partitions are formed on the exterior surface of the rear wall to separate the soldering sections of the neighboring contacts.

Therefore, when the connector () assembled to the printed circuit board (), we could make full use of the height space at the up and down direction of the printed circuit board (), thus greatly reducing the height space occupied by the connector ().

A connector () comprises an insulative housing () and a plurality of contacts () assembled onto the insulative housing (), the insulative housing () defining a mating surface (), a mounting surface () opposite to the mating surface () and a plurality of contact grooves () passing though the mating surface () and the mounting surface (). The contact () assembled onto the insulative housing () from the mounting surface () of the insulative housing (), each contact () including a contact portion () received in the contact grooves () and a mounting portion () extending out of the insulative housing (). Wherein the connector () further includes a shell () assembled to the insulative housing (), the shell () includes a shielding portion () shielding the mounting surface (), thereby preventing the contact () shedding from the insulative housing () or loosening in the insulative housing () to make the combine of the contact () and insulative housing () reliable.

A transmission module assembly comprises a cover and an electrical connector received in the cover. The cover includes a body defining a receiving cavity and a mating section extending forwardly from the body. The connector includes an insulating elongated housing and a number of terminals retained in the housing. Each terminal includes an engaging portion extending forwardly beyond the body into the mating section, a tail portion extending upwardly beyond the housing and a connecting portion retained in the housing. There is a gap between the body and the housing for pouring sealant thereinto. A tuber is defined between the housing and the body, and a pair of stoppers positioned at the body abut forwardly against two lateral sides of the housing in an elongated direction, which can prevent the housing from deforming when temperature changes.

Transmission module assembly

A signal transmission module includes a shell and a connector. The shell includes a box and a mating portion. The connector includes an insulative housing received in the box and a set of contacts. Each contact includes a middle portion, a contacting portion extending into the mating portion and a tail portion. A gap is formed between the insulative housing and the box for sealant being injected. The signal transmission module further includes a horizontal channel located between the insulative housing and the box for the sealant entering into and a vertical channel connecting the horizontal channel.

A screw retaining mechanism includes a hollow stud and a nut is matched with the hollow stud. The hollow stud has a plurality of elastic plates extending from a free end thereof and along a peripheral wall thereof. An opening is located between two adjacent elastic plates. An inner wall of the nut has a plurality of tubers protruding in the axial direction to match into the opening. The elastic plate defines a first side face and a second side face opposite to the first side face. Said first side face is used to guide the tubers into the opening and the second side face prevent the tuber fall off from the stud.

A junction box includes a cable connecting box, a cover covering the cable connecting box and a cable electrically connecting with the cable connecting box. The cable connecting box including an insulative box and a wire connecting module, the insulative box comprising a plurality of walls extending upwardly and a receiving cavity surround by the walls, the walls including a front wall defining a plurality of mounting holes for the cable passing through. The cover includes a plurality of separating walls extending downwardly from a peripheral of the cover to engage with the walls of the insulative box and a pretending wall being parallel to the separating wall and located in front of the front wall. The adding pretending wall provides a longer distance for the junction box to ensure a safe creepage distance for the user to use the junction box.

A junction box () includes a cable connecting box, a cover () covering the cable connecting box, and a cable () connecting with the cable connecting box. The cable () connecting box has an insulative block (), a number of contacting foils (), and a number of diodes () connecting adjacent contacting foils (). The junction box () further includes a plurality of clips () mounted in the insulative block () and electrically connecting with the contacting foils (). The clip () includes a clamp spring () and an elastic plate () received in the clamp spring () to resist the clamping spring (). As a result, the clamp spring () will not resist the cable connecting box so as to improve an using life of the junction box ().

A junction box includes a cable connecting box and a cover covering the cable connecting box. The cable connecting box includes an insulative block, a plurality of contacting foils retained in the insulative block and a plurality of diodes. Each diode connects with two neighborly contacting foils. The contacting foils are insert-molded with the insulative block. Based on thermal radiation properties of the plastic material is superior to that of the metal material, as the contacting foils transfer the heat to the insulative block, the insulative block would deliver the heat to the cable connecting box, then the heat would be delivered to the cover. Such that, the heat dissipates outside quickly from the junction box.

A junction box includes a cable connecting body and a cover covering the cable connecting body. The cable connecting body includes an insulative block, a plurality of connecting foils retained in the insulative block and a plurality of diodes connecting with two neighborly connecting foils. The connecting foils are insert-molded with the insulative block. The insulative block has a hook and the cable connecting body has a front wall with a depressing slot corresponding to the hook. The hook and the depressing slot engage with each other, when the insulative block is damaged, the user can remove the insulative block away from the junction box by levering the hook.
