An image prediction method and device are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a first reference unit of an image unit, where respective predicted images are obtained for the image unit and the first reference unit by using a same affine model; obtaining motion information of basic motion compensation units at two or more preset positions of the first reference unit; and obtaining motion information of a basic motion compensation unit of the image unit according to the motion information. In this way, motion information of the first reference unit using a same affine motion prediction model is reused, and a more accurate motion vector of a current image unit is obtained, improving prediction accuracy and maintaining encoding and decoding complexity, thereby improving encoding and decoding performance.

Image prediction method and device

An image prediction method and device are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a first reference unit of an image unit, where respective predicted images are obtained for the image unit and the first reference unit by using a same affine model; obtaining motion information of basic motion compensation units at two or more preset positions in the first reference unit; and obtaining motion information of a basic motion compensation unit of the image unit according to the motion information. In this way, motion information of the first reference unit using a same affine motion prediction model is reused, and a more accurate motion vector of a current image unit is obtained, improving prediction accuracy and maintaining encoding and decoding complexity, thereby improving encoding and decoding performance.

The present disclosure provides a reference image encoding method, including: encoding sequence, to obtain a reconstructed image of a first and second reference images; determining whether a local area in the second reference image is suitable for updating first reference image; determining whether the first reference image is updated; when the first reference image is not updated, and it is determined the second reference image is suitable for updating the first reference image, replacing a pixel value of a corresponding area or a related area in the first reference image with a pixel value of the local area in the second reference image; and compiling, into the bitstream.

Reference image encoding method, reference image decoding method, reference image encoding device, and reference image decoding device

Methods, devices, apparatus, and systems for video encoding/decoding in which usage of a background picture is synchronized on an encoder side and a decoder side. In this solution, a background picture that is to be used as a reference picture is determined, background-picture indication information is used to indicate a time point from which the background picture is used as the reference picture, the encoder side encodes to-be-coded video pictures by using the background picture as the reference picture from the time point indicated by the background-picture indication information, to generate a primary bitstream, and the encoder side transmits a background-picture bitstream, the background-picture indication information, and the primary bitstream to the decoder side.

Video encoding/decoding method and device

The picture prediction method includes: determining motion vector predictors of K pixel samples in a current picture block, where K is an integer greater than 1, the K pixel samples include a first vertex angle pixel sample in the current picture block, a motion vector predictor of the first vertex angle pixel sample is obtained based on a motion vector of a preset first spatially adjacent picture block of the current picture block, and the first spatially adjacent picture block is spatially adjacent to the first vertex angle pixel sample; and performing, based on a non-translational motion model and the motion vector predictors of the K pixel samples, pixel value prediction on the current picture block. Solutions in the embodiments of the present application are helpful in reducing calculation complexity of picture prediction based on a non-translational motion model.

Picture prediction method and related apparatus

A video processing method includes: receiving video data, where the video data is divided into multiple frames; calculating a Lagrange multiplier of a current predict unit in a current coding unit, where the current predict unit is a segment of video signal within the current coding unit, the current coding unit is located in a current frame, and the current frame is one of the multiple frames; performing, by using the Lagrange multiplier of the current predict unit, encoding processing on the current predict unit according to a rate-distortion optimization algorithm to obtain an encoding result of the current predict unit; and sending the encoding result of the current predict unit to a decoder side. Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a video coding method which includes: obtaining a current picture, motion vector precision of the current picture according to the current picture, where the motion vector precision includes a search step size set, and each search step size in the search step size set is less than a pixel unit; obtaining a current block and a reference picture of the current block; determining a search start point in the reference picture, and searching, from the search start point, for a target integer pixel by using a pixel unit as a search step size; searching, from the target integer pixel, for a match block of the current block according to the motion vector precision; obtaining motion vector information and a prediction residual signal; and the reference picture, the motion vector information, and the prediction residual signal into a bitstream.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for acquiring a video bitstream, and relate to the field of information technologies, which can improve network bandwidth utilization. The method includes: firstly, acquiring, by a terminal, a minimum bit rate corresponding to a parameter of the terminal; then, sending, by the terminal, a video bitstream acquiring request to a server, and when receiving the video bitstream acquiring request sent by the terminal, sending, by the server, an MPD to the terminal; and finally, receiving, by the terminal, the MPD sent by the server, and acquiring a video bitstream according to the MPD and the minimum bit rate. The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to a case in which a user downloads video data by using a terminal.

Method and apparatus for acquiring video bitstream

An adaptive dequantization method and apparatus in video coding includes, a statistical feature of a background area in which a current transform block is located is estimated using spatial neighborhood information, or temporal neighborhood information, or spatial neighborhood information and temporal neighborhood information of the transform block, a quantization adjustment factor for dequantization is adaptively derived, and dequantization processing is flexibly adjusted. Hence quantization adjustment information is transmitted in a bitstream, according to the method and the apparatus, and extra bit overheads are not required to transmit the quantization adjustment information, thereby further improving coding efficiency.
