A method and device for handling radio link failure is disclosed. The method is as follows. A device at network side requests a terminal device to send an uplink signal according to a predefined first period, and detects first signal quality. if the device at the network side determines for continuous M1 times that the first signal quality is lower than a predefined first threshold, the device at the network side requests the terminal device to send the uplink signal according to a predefined second period, and detecting second signal quality, wherein M1 is a predefined first value. When determining according to the second signal quality that restoration of a radio link of the terminal device is failed, the device at the network side releases network resources corresponding to the radio link of the terminal device. The predefined second period is larger than the predefined first period.

Method and device for handling radio link failure

Various examples provide a method and a system for spectrum handover in cognitive radio (CR) systems. According to the method, after detecting a user of an authorized system appears at a current working frequency, the base station generates a spectrum handover command and sends the spectrum handover command via a channel identified by the CR DWNDI to instruct the UEs in the cell to perform spectrum handover according to the spectrum handover command.

Method and system for spectrum handover in cognitive radio networks

The present invention proposes a method processing in random access procedure, comprising the following steps: when a Preamble transmitted by a random access node is detected by a base station, the base station calculating TA according to the Preamble detected by itself and transmitting it to the random access node; the base station receiving random access detection information reported from a transparent relay station and selecting a service node for the random access node; the base station receiving an uplink signaling transmitted by the random access node after the random access node adjusted the uplink timing advance according to TA calculated by the base station, and notifying the random access node of the access condition through a contention resolution message according to the selected service node, and the random access node performing an access procedure based on the access condition. According to the present invention, the duration of the random access procedure can be shortened, and the service QOS can be improved, which gives the user better service experience.

Method of processing in random access procedure, system and apparatus thereof

Various examples of the present disclosure describe a random access method and device in a CR system. The method includes: generating, by a base station device, a spectrum handover command, wherein the spectrum handover command comprises random access backoff time parameter information; and sending, by the base station device, the spectrum handover command to a user equipment in a cell to instruct the UE to initiate, during a spectrum handover procedure, a random access procedure using the random access backoff time parameter information. According to the various examples of the present disclosure, the random access backoff time parameter information is carried in the spectrum handover command, so that a random access conflict is suppressed during the spectrum handover procedure of the CR system. A large number of UEs that intensively perform random access on a target working frequency are pre-dispersed in time. As such, the delay and the failure probability of the random access on the target working frequency during the spectrum handover procedure are reduced, and thus the failure probability of the spectrum handover and the service interruption time are reduced, so that the user experience of the CR system is improved.

Random access method and device in cognitive radio system

Disclosed are a method and device for data exchanging, and relates to communication technology. The embodiments of the present application includes: pre-allocating virtual resource to user terminals, and activating the virtual resource in case of need, so user terminals can use the pre-allocated resource to exchange data with network side. When inactive, the virtual resource can allocated to other users. For small data, irregular service, pre-allocation of virtual resource and activating it in case of need, can improve efficiency of use of resource. Meanwhile, dividing users into groups and scheduling by groups can reduce control overhead.

The present invention discloses a method for configuring a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH), a base station and a UE, wherein the base station configures a component carrier or component carriers for monitoring the PDCCH for the UE and notifies the UE about information on the configured component carrier or component carriers so that the UE monitors the PDCCH only over the configured component carrier or component carriers. Stated otherwise, in this way, the UE will operate only over a necessary component carrier or component carriers without monitoring respective component carriers in an LTE-A system to thereby reduce the number of concurrently monitored component carriers, and in the case of nonconsecutive component carriers, also reduce the number of consequently enabled receivers and consequently the amount of consumed power of the UE for monitoring the PDCCH.

Allocation method for physical downlink control channel, base station and user terminal

A method for enhancing power saving performance of user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes the following steps: a UE receives the downlink data transmitted by an evolved node B (eNB); the UE starts a corresponding RTT Timer according to the received downlink data, the timing of the RTT Timer is determined based on the uplink/downlink (UL/DL) configuration and the sub-frame number of the downlink sub-frame carrying the downlink data by the UE; and the UE controls the discontinuous reception (DRX) process according to the RTT Timer. By re-defining the RTT Timer, the present invention can improve power saving performance of the UE in TDD system effectively.

Method for enhancing power saving performance of user equipment

The present invention provides a measurement method in a cell handover procedure, comprising: A. after network measurement is triggered, a base station schedules resources, which are needed for transmitting uplink data, for a user terminal; and B. the base station and relay stations measure relevant data transmitted from the user terminal on the resources scheduled by the base station, and the relay stations report the detection information of the uplink signal derived from the measurement to the base station. With the use of the invention, a User Equipment may be dynamically scheduled to transmit an uplink channel sounding pilot, a solution for carrying the uplink channel sounding pilot scheduling signaling is provided, and a solution for determining the position of the uplink channel sounding pilot in the subframe is also be provided, thereby the position of the uplink channel sounding pilot in the subframe can more accurately reflect the conditions of the channel on which uplink and/or downlink processing is performed according to the uplink channel sounding pilot.

Method and system for transmitting an uplink channel sounding pilot and base station and user equipment

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for synchronization in a communication system, the method includes: detecting whether a user equipment is in an uplink out-of-synchronization state; triggering, by a downlink scheduling entity, an uplink enhanced random access synchronization process, if the user equipment is in the uplink out-of-synchronization state; and obtaining, by an uplink scheduling entity, a user equipment identifier sent by the user equipment on which the uplink enhanced random access synchronization process is triggered, and informing the downlink scheduling entity via an interaction with the downlink scheduling entity that uplink synchronization of the user equipment is restored. By employing the method and the apparatus of the invention, the uplink synchronization is accomplished by using the existing enhanced random access technology of the current system and via the interaction between the uplink and downlink scheduling entities, the delay of the synchronization may be shortened effectively, the data transmission efficiency and the system resource utilization are improved, and the normal sending and transmitting of the downlink data may be guaranteed.
