The present disclosure relates to communication methods and apparatus. In one example method, a terminal sends, to a network device, a quantity of radio frequency channels supported on each of a plurality of carriers when the terminal performs uplink transmission on the plurality of carriers in time division multiplexing (TDM) mode. The terminal reports, to the network device, a quantity of radio frequency channels used on each carrier when the terminal performs uplink transmission in TDM mode, so that the network device can configure, for the terminal based on an actual capability of the terminal, the quantity of radio frequency channels used on each carrier in TDM mode.

An uplink determining method and an apparatus. An access network device may determine, based on signal quality of a downlink frequency band corresponding to a supplementary uplink (SUL) or signal quality of a frequency band of an SUL, the signal quality of the frequency band of the SUL, to accurately evaluate coverage performance of the SUL; and after determining the signal quality of the frequency band of the SUL, may determine whether to perform transmission on the supplementary uplink, to avoid a case in which the access network device blindly indicates a terminal to perform transmission on the supplementary uplink when signal quality of the supplementary uplink is not measured, leading to transmission of the terminal on the supplementary uplink with poor coverage and even a failure, thereby improving reliability and a transmission rate of uplink transmission and improving user experience.

Uplink determining method and apparatus

Example uplink switching methods and apparatus are described. One example method include performing switching between a supplementary uplink (SUL) and a normal (NUL), where a switching time period for the switching between the SUL and the NUL is longer than 0 microseconds. Therefore, the SUL and the NUL can share a radio frequency channel so that the shared radio frequency channel can be switched between the SUL and the NUL.

A mounting assembly for a cover of a computer enclosure includes a chassis () having a side panel, at least one locking member () securely attached to the chassis (), a cover () adapted to be slidably mounted to the chassis () and at least one jacking member () movably mounted to the chassis (). A projecting tab () extends from a side panel () of the cover () and a stopping tab () extends from an inner side of the side panel () thereof. The jacking member () has a jacking portion () and a pressed portion (). Mounting assembly for cover of computer enclosure

A computer enclosure includes a chassis (), a cover () and a resilient member (). The chassis includes a recess () and at least one locking member (). A cover is mounted on the chassis. The cover has a stop () adapted to engage with the locking member for securing the cover on the chassis. The resilient member is attached to the cover and compressed in the recess for forcing the cover to move away from the chassis when the locking member is disengaged from the stop.

Computer enclosure

A latch for securing a cover () to a base () includes a projecting tab () on one of the cover and the base, a mounting member () and a resilient member (). The projecting tab engages with the mounting member so that the cover engages with the base. The mounting member is deformable. The resilient member is compressed by the mounting member. When the mounting member is deformed, the resilient member is released to urge the mounting member to disengage from the projecting tab thereby removing the cover from the base.

Latch for securing cover to computer enclosure

A retaining device includes a computer cage (), a drive bracket () for receiving a storage device, a displacing assembly () movably combining the drive bracket and the computer cage together. The displacing assembly includes a first fixing member () slidably attached to the bottom of the drive bracket, a second fixing member () secured in the computer cage, and a pair of connecting members () pivotably disposed between the first fixing member and the second fixing member. The connecting member comprises a first post (), and a second post () parallel to the first post. The first and second fixing member each define a corresponding semicircular slot () to engagingly receiving the posts. The drive bracket is moved in and out form the computer cage, with the first and second posts of the connecting member pivotally engaging in the semicircular slots of the first and the second fixing member.

A button device includes a base () mounted to a bezel () of an electronic device. A plurality of button units () are disposed in the base (), and a plurality of through holes () are abreast provided in the base () in correspondence with the button unit (). The button unit () includes a cap () with an elastic member () supported thereunder. The elastic member () integrally extends from the base () and surrounds the through hole (). A post () extends from the inner bottom of the cap () and extends through the elastic member () and the through hole. In use, the post () gets through the hole () in the base () and touches the switch of the electronic device.

An expansion card retention apparatus includes a rear panel (), first and second retention brackets (), and a side panel (). The rear panel defines a number of expansion slots () for receiving expansion cards () therein respectively, an opening, and a pair of hook openings adjoining the opening. The first retention bracket is rotatable in the opening between first and second positions, and includes a pair of hooks (). The second retention bracket defines a number of flexible tongues (). The first and second retention brackets are together rotated to the second position such that the flexible tongues engage corresponding expansion cards, and the hooks engages in corresponding hook openings of the rear panel. The side panel is attached to the rear panel for holding the first and second retention brackets in place. The expansion cards are thus securely attached to the rear panel.
