A frequency control method and system for an ultrasonic surgical tool. The frequency control method for an ultrasonic tool comprised: obtaining a maximum value of a phase difference between an operating voltage and an operating current of the ultrasonic surgical tool; determining whether the maximum value is less than zero, so as to obtain a first determination result; if the first determination result indicates that the maximum value is not less than zero, adjusting an operating frequency of the ultrasonic surgical tool to a frequency corresponding to the phase difference to zero; if the first determination result indicates that the maximum value is less than zero, subtracting a preset value from the maximum value to obtain a phase lock point; and adjusting, according to the phase lock point, the operating frequency of the ultrasonic tool. The frequency control method for an ultrasonic surgical tool solves a problem in which, in some situations where the phase of a self-resonant frequency does not exceed 0, ultrasonic surgical tools fail to operate normally, or operate inefficiently, thereby improving operation efficiency and stability of ultrasonic surgical tools.

An ultrasonic surgical blade, wherein the blade has a curved shape, and both sides of the blade are provided with cutting surfaces, one surface is a concave surface and the other surface is a convex surface. The thickness of the blade is gradually thinned along a cutting direction from a proximal end to a distal end. The concave surface length is set as L1, the radius of curvature R1; the length of the convex surface L2, the radius of curvature R2; the angle of the bending of the center line of the blade is &#x3b1;; the diameter of the proximal end of the blade is D; the thickness of the most distal end surface of the blade is T. An ultrasonic vitrectomy needle, comprising: a connector, a connected inner needle, and an outer sheath. The length of the outer sheath at the distal end is slightly longer than that of the inner needle; the sheath distal end is of blind with smooth surface, but there is an open cut at the side of the distal end used for aspirating the vitreous body. The benefits of this disclosure: due to the difficulty if not impossible in the prior arts making a slim long center bore needle for ultrasonic surgical system, this disclosure clears the way to make the ultrasonic vitrectomy a practical reality; the ultrasonic vibration inherent advantages of the quietness, minuscule displacement, liquid repulsion and viscosity reduction improve safety of the surgery; the possibility of integrating ultrasonic vitrectomy and ultrasonic phaco emulsification procedures simplifies the complexity from prior arts, thus brings ease to the ophthalmic surgeries and reduces the cost.

Ultrasonic needle and apparatus applied for vitrectomy

An ultrasonic phacoemulsification needle with improved safety and manufacturability, comprising: a metal connection body and a plastic needle in a splitting structure. The plastic needle is connected at the distal end of the metal connection body, and the metal connection body is connected to the distal end of an ultrasonic hand piece. The ultrasonic phacoemulsification needle employing a design of splitting the connection body and the needle alleviates the difficulties for manufacturing otherwise caused by the conventional phaco tip designs. It reduces the surgical costs from patients. In addition, the ultrasonic phacoemulsification needle using a plastic body reduces the likeliness of punctuating the capsule bag, which otherwise easily occurs in the metal needle case due to the extremely sharp rigid tip at the end of the needle, thus the risks of surgery are reduced and safety is improved.
