For a radiation imaging inspection system, apparatus, and/or method, the system, particularly a trailer security inspection system, includes a protective wall forming an inspection passage for passage of a trailer, a radiation imaging system effecting security inspection of the trailer passing through the inspection passage, and a fraction arrangement for hauling the trailer.

Trailer security inspection system

The present invention relates to a trailer system, and particularly to a self-driving trailer system for a radiation imaging inspection system and a method for inspecting a vehicle by radiation imaging of a vehicle through the trailer system. The self-driving trailer system comprises two trailers symmetrical in structure. Each of the trailers comprises a driving device, running wheels, a trailer body, a carrying device, a lift cylinder, a balance wheel, and two pairs of guide wheels. The driving device, the running wheels, and the balance wheel are coupled with the trailer body. The carrying device is coupled with the trailer body through the lift cylinder. A front carrying arm and a rear carrying arm can clamp front wheels of a vehicle under inspection, and move upwards and downwards by the lift cylinder. The trailer system according to the present invention is smooth and reliable in operation and simple in structure, and is applicable to different diameters of wheels of container lorries under inspection and is convenient in operation.

Trailer system and method for inspecting vehicle by radiation imaging of vehicle through trailer system

The present invention relates to a gas filtering-buffering device, which comprises at least one gas filtering unit; a gas inlet, the gas to be processed flows into the at least one gas filtering unit from the gas inlet; and a gas outlet, the gas processed by the at least one gas filtering unit is discharged out of the at least one gas filtering unit via the gas outlet, wherein the at least one gas filtering unit comprising: a gas buffering cavity for performing buffering function for the gas, and a gas filtering part for performing filtering function for the gas. In the present invention, it is not only provided with a gas filtering part which is able to filter the moisture and organic substance in the gas, but also provided with a gas buffering cavity, which integrate the filtering and buffering functions together. The buffering cavity may expand the capacity and stabilize the pressure of the gas, and balance the concentration, pressure and flow rate of the gas, it is advantageous to reduce the on-way pressure lost and partially pressure lost, decrease fluctuation of the flow current and the pressure thus, the detecting performance of the detector is improved.

Gas filtering-buffering device

A device for inspecting contraband in an aviation cargo container includes: a turntable and a scanning system, the scanning system including a radiation source; a detector; a radiation source mounting structure; and a detector mounting structure for mounting the detector. Each of said radiation source mounting structure and said detector mounting structure includes at least one column assembly. The radiation source and the detector are mounted on the column assembly and allowed to synchronously ascend and descend along said column assembly. By combining different movement modes of the turntable and the scanning system, the device of the present invention can scan the object in various scanning modes. The device is stable in structure, convenient in installation, and occupies a small space. The device can inspect aviation containers over two meters long and/or over two meters wide and achieve a relatively high passing rate of the objects.

Device for inspecting contraband in aviation cargo container

A device for inspecting contraband in an aviation cargo containers includes: a turntable located at an object inspecting position and configured to carry the object to be inspected and bring the object into rotation; an object conveying system; a scanning system including a radiation source and a detector which can synchronously move in the vertical direction; a turntable drive/control system which drives and controls rotation of said turntable so that the turntable can continuously rotate about its rotation axis or rotate to any predetermined angular position; a scanning drive/control system which drives and controls the radiation source and the detector into synchronous movement in the vertical direction so that the radiation source and the detector can continuously move in the vertical direction or move to any predetermined vertical position. The device of the present invention can scan the object and form images in various scanning modes to meet different needs.

Device and method for inspecting contraband in aviation cargo container

The present invention discloses a mobile cantilever door-type container inspection system, in the art of radiation scanning imaging inspection technology. The system according to the present invention comprises a moveable scanning apparatus formed by a scanning frame and a remote control device, wherein the scanning frame comprises a radiation source and some detectors, wherein the radiation source or an apparatus cabin wherein the radiation source is disposed is connected with an L-shaped cantilever structure to form a door-type scanning frame, wherein beneath the radiation source or the apparatus cabin wherein the radiation source is disposed are provided with rollers that can reciprocatingly move on rails and are controlled by drive means. The detectors are disposed in a cross beam and a vertical beam of the cantilever structure of the door-type scanning frame. Rays of the radiation source are right in alignment with rows of detectors in the cantilever structure. The container truck to be inspected can pass through the door-like frame formed by the door-type scanning frame. Due to the cantilever structure, the inspection system is advantageous in stable operation, good-quality images, and high reliability.

Mobile cantilever door-type container inspection system

A combined mobile container inspection system, comprising: a radiation source; a chassis; a rotatable deck provided at an end of the upper surface of said chassis and rotatable with respect to said chassis, provided with a parallelogram bracket formed by a hingedly-connected four-bar linkage mechanism, wherein the cross link of the parallelogram bracket extends to form a horizontal cross arm with detectors, the other end of said horizontal cross arm is connected with a vertical upright arm, which is vertical or parallel to said horizontal cross arm; and a sliding deck provided at the rear end of the rotatable deck and movable upwardly and downwardly, said sliding deck is provided, in turn, with the radiation source, the X-ray therefrom is always right in the face of the detectors provided in the horizontal cross arm and vertical upright arm, calibrator and collimator.

Combined mobile container inspection system with low target

A collimation and calibration integrative apparatus for container inspection system includes a collimating block; a calibrating block; a base plate; a motor and a plurality of supporting units fixed on the base plate; a transmission unit coupled to the motor for transmitting movement from the motor to a bearing plate, characterized in that the apparatus further includes: a sliding plate having one end connected to the bearing plate and the other end slidably fitted to guide rails provided on the base plate; a stationary plate fixedly connected to the sliding plate, wherein the collimating block and the calibrating block are provided on the stationary plate to form an integrative structure and an assembly gap is formed between the collimating block and the calibrating block, whereby the collimating block and the calibrating block on the stationary plate are driven by the transmission unit and the bearing plate to be moved integrally.

Collimation and calibration integrative apparatus for container inspection system

A train inspection system by imaging through radiation, having a scanning arm positioned away from the track and supported on a construction base, and vibration damping elements positioned between the scanning arm and the construction base. The system includes a detector bracket with detector arrays mounted thereon, a radiation source, a calibration device, a front collimator, and a rear collimator. The sector-shaped x-rays emitted from the radiation source penetrate through the calibration device, the front collimator, the rear collimator and the train to be inspected sequentially so as to be received by the detector arrays provided on the detector bracket.

Scanning arm and train inspection system by imaging through radiation having the scanning arm

A double-radiant-source framework used for a radiation detecting system for containers, having a horizontal accelerator, a vertical accelerator and a gantry tower composed of a left vertical girder, a right vertical girder, an upper cross girder, and a lower cross girder. A horizontal collimator and accelerator, and a vertical collimator and accelerator, are fixed on the left vertical girder and the upper cross girder of the gantry tower, respectively, and emit radiation beams as two planes oriented parallel to each other. Detector modules are disposed inside the double-detector arm of the right vertical girder, and inside the upper cross girder and the lower cross girder, respectively, to receive the two emitted planes of radiation beams. The container detecting system can reduce the area covered by the scanning channel of the system, and make the transportation, installation and use convenient, and improve the quality of the detected images.

Double-radiant-source framework for container detecting system

A relocatable container inspection device, which is constituted by modularized units, is used for inspecting a container. The device comprises: a first cabin unit including a radiation source for generating a beam of penetration radiation for penetrating the container to be inspected; a second cabin unit including detectors for detecting the beam of penetration radiation penetrating through the container being inspected and producing corresponding radiographic signals, the second cabin unit and the first cabin unit being arranged oppositely in both sides of an inspection passage; a gantry unit bridging the first cabin unit and the second cabin unit to form a portal-shaped frame adapted for straddling the container being inspected; means for moving the frame relative to the container being inspected along the inspection passage, so that the detectors receive the beam of the penetration radiation generated from the radiation resource and passing through the container being inspected, thereby continuously scanning the container and producing the corresponding radiographic signals, wherein the first cabin unit, the second cabin unit and the gantry unit are all individually made as modular units so as to be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled with each other on the inspection site. In the present invention, all of the modularized units of the container inspection device can be easily assembled and disassembled in the work field, and the dimensions of each modular unit are sized to be suitable for road transports and to be facilitate for the device's movement.
