Disclosed are methods and systems for generating three-dimensional reconstructions of environments. A system, for example, may include a housing having an image sensor directed in a first direction and a distance sensor directed in a second direction and a control unit including a processor and a memory storing instructions. The processor may be configured to execute the instructions to: generate a first 3D model of an environment; generate a plurality of revolved 3D models by revolving the first 3D model relative to the image sensor to a plurality of positions within a predetermined angular range; match a set of distance values to one of the revolved 3D models; determine an angular position of the second direction relative to the first direction; and generate a 3D reconstruction of the environment.

Systems and methods for generating three-dimensional reconstructions of environments

The disclosed technology relates to a hard and soft light module having a housing with a first surface that accommodates a lens. A first plurality of LEDs are disposed along a periphery of the first surface, the first plurality of LEDs are configured to generate light in a first direction toward an edge of the lens. A second plurality of LEDs are disposed proximate to the first surface, the second plurality of LEDs are configured to generate light in a second direction through the lens. The first plurality of LEDs are configured to generate a soft light and the second plurality of LEDs are configured to generate a hard light.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) navigation system is configured to automatically identify a suitable UAV landing site, for example, in forced-landing (e.g., emergency) scenarios. In some examples, the system receives two or more overlapping images depicting a landscape underneath an airborne unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV); generates, based on the two or more overlapping images, a depth map for the landscape; identifies, based on the depth map, regions of the landscape having a depth variance below a threshold value; determines, for each of the regions of the landscape having a depth variance below the threshold value, a landing zone quality score indicative of the depth variance and a semantic type of the region of the landscape; identifies, based on the landing zone quality scores, a suitable location for landing the UAV; and causes the UAV to automatically navigate toward and land on the suitable location.

Automatic safe-landing-site selection for unmanned aerial systems

A positioning device that has a support table, two pairs of sliding blocks slidably mounted in the support table, a positioning plate extending vertically at the top of each sliding block, a base on which the support table is supported, a cylinder in the base, a ball in the cylinder, a piston rod slidably mounted in the cylinder and pushing the ball to move upward in a vertical direction, so that the ball drives the two pairs of sliding blocks to move away from each other in the first horizontal direction and the second horizontal direction, respectively, until the positioning plates of the two pairs of sliding blocks abut against four inner walls of the opening of the circuit board, respectively, to allow the electronic device to be received in a positioning slot defined by the positioning plates, and a release mechanism that drives the piston rod to move downward in the vertical direction to allow the two pairs of sliding blocks to be moved toward each other in the first horizontal direction and the second horizontal direction, so that the positioning plates drive the electronic device in the positioning slot to move toward a center of the opening.

An automatic pick-up equipment adapted to pick up components having different shapes includes a base mounted on a manipulator of a robot, a first pick-up device mounted on the base and including a pair of first gripping mechanisms opposite to each other, and a second pick-up device mounted on the base and including a pair of second gripping mechanisms opposite to each other and a rotation mechanism. The first gripping mechanisms are configured to linearly reciprocate relative to each other to grip a first component. The second gripping mechanisms are configured to pivotally reciprocate relative to each other to grip a second component. The rotation mechanism is configured to drive the second gripping mechanisms to rotate relative to the base to change a posture of the second component.

An automatic assembling system has a component tray, an assembly table, a mechanical arm and pressing tool. The mechanical arm includes a rotary disc and a plurality of gripping devices mounted on the rotary disc, wherein the rotary disc is configured to rotate about an axis such that one of the plurality of gripping devices is aligned with a corresponding component disposed on the component tray and grips the corresponding component. The pressing tool is also mounted on the rotary disc and is configured to press and/or adjust an assembled component on the assembly table.

A gripping system includes a gripping device and a pitch adjustment device. The gripping device has a row of grippers arranged in a first direction and adapted to grip a row of contacts and a support frame on which at least two adjacent grippers of the row of grippers are slidably attached. An assembling apparatus is adapted to assemble a case made of thin plate. The case has a bottom case and a top case, a latch formed on each side wall of the bottom case, and a locking spring formed on each side plate of the top case. When side plates of the top case are located at a predetermined position with respect to the top wall of the top case, the locking springs are fitted into the latches. The assembling apparatus includes a base configured to position and support the bottom case, an operation mechanism adapted to hold and move the top case, and a guide device disposed at the inner side of the latch. The guide device guides the side plate to the predetermined position, so that the locking spring on the side plate of the top case is capable of being fitted into the latch.

A drying system comprises a drying box, a carrier moving and holding device, and a high pressure jet device mounted in the drying box. The carrier moving and holding device is configured to move a carrier into the drying box and hold the carrier in the drying box. A plurality of fiber optic ferrules are mounted on the carrier. The high pressure jet device is adapted to spray a high pressure gas on the carrier held in the drying box to dry the fiber optic ferrules.

The multi-layer cage includes a bottom case, a top case, a partition plate, and a partition assembly. The second assembling workstation assembles the partition device and the top case to form a top case assembly. The third assembling workstation assembles the top case assembly and the bottom case to form the multi-layer cage. A terminal bending tool comprises a plate, a plurality of receiving grooves, and a plurality of rollers. The plate extends in a first horizontal direction. The receiving grooves are disposed in the plate in a row along the first horizontal direction. The rollers are pivotally mounted in the receiving grooves. A terminal is received and positioned in a first receiving groove and is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a first roller. When the terminal bending tool is moved in a vertical direction perpendicular to the first horizontal direction, the first roller rotates and moves along a surface of the terminal while pressing and bending the terminal.

The first assembling workstation is configured to assemble a contact of a connector assembly and a light guide pipe of the connector assembly to form a contact subassembly. The robot is configured to transmit the cage, the light guide pipe, the contact, or the contact subassembly between the first assembling workstation and the second assembling workstation and configured to assist an assembling operation at the first assembling workstation and the second assembling workstation.
