The present disclosure provides an optical membrane, a backlight module, a display device and a device for manufacturing the optical membrane. The optical membrane includes a strip-like strengthening member arranged on at least one edge of the optical membrane. The backlight module includes the optical membrane. The display device includes the backlight module. The device for manufacturing the optical membrane with a wave-shaped edge includes: a cutter, configured to cut an edge of the optical membrane; and linear members, arranged between two parallel blades of the cutter and configured to press the edge of the optical membrane into a wave shape. Alternatively, the device for manufacturing the optical membrane with a wave-shaped edge includes: a cutter, configured to cut an edge of the optical membrane; and a roller, configured to press the edge of the optical membrane into a wave shape.

Optical membrane, backlight module, display device and device for manufacturing optical membrane

The present disclosure provides a backlight source and a display device. A rigid element is arranged between a light strip of the backlight source and a light-entering surface of a light guide plate. One end of the rigid element is fixed onto the light strip, and the other end of the right element is fixed onto the light guide plate, so as to maintain a constant distance between the light strip and the light-entering surface of the light guide plate. An elastic element is arranged between the light strip and a back plate and at a side of the light strip opposite to the light-entering surface of the light guide plate. When the light guide plate is thermally deformed, a deformation force generated by the light guide plate is applied to the rigid element, so push the light strip to press against the elastic element.

Backlight source and display device

The present disclosure provides a backlight, a display device and a method for controlling backlighting thereof. The present disclosure relates to the field of display technology, and enables a display panel with uniform brightness. The backlight comprises a backplate and a light emitting unit which is arranged on a surface of the backplate. The light emitting unit comprises a substrate and a plurality of light sources which are fixed onto the substrate. The substrate comprises an attached part which is fixed to a central area of the surface of the backplate and a bendable part which forms a preset angle with a non-central area of the surface of the backplate.

Backlight, display device and method for controlling backlighting thereof

The present disclosure discloses a mold frame, a backlight module and a display device. The mold frame includes sidewalls for limiting a periphery of a light guide plate and optical films in the backlight module, and a boss for limiting the light guide plate and the optical films in a direction perpendicular to an output surface of the light guide plate. The boss is provide with a recess opening towards the light guide plate. The recess is provided with a number of rollers therein in a lengthwise direction thereof. A diameter of the rollers is greater than a depth of the recess. The mold frame is applied to the backlight module. In assembly, the light guide plate, the light source and the optical films are placed in the mold frame. An outside surface of the roller provided in the boss of the mold frame abuts against the light guide plate, limiting the light guide plate in the direction of the thickness of the backlight module, thereby preventing the light guide plate from warping upward after expansion due to heat. Hence, the mold frame according to the present disclosure may reduce occurrence of phenomena such a slow light incidence efficiency of the backlight module, light leakage of the backlight module and wrinkling of the optical films.

The present invention discloses a prism sheet and a display device comprising the prism sheet for improving performances of a backlight module in a liquid crystal display device. The prism sheet comprises a first substrate and a second substrate, wherein the first substrate comprises a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the second surface comprises a plurality of first protrusions arranged in parallel along a first direction; the second substrate comprises a third surface and a fourth surface opposite to the third surface, the third surface comprises a plurality of second protrusions arranged in parallel along the first direction, and the fourth surface comprises a plurality of third protrusions arranged in parallel along a second direction; and the second surface and the third surface are joined by meshing of the first protrusions with the second protrusions.
