A method for selecting an image based on burst shooting is provided, which relates to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: an electronic device displays a preview interface; detects a first operation used to start burst shooting; obtains N images; then performs scene recognition based on K images that meet an image quality screening condition, to determine a shooting scene; and finally determines M images based on the shooting scene, where N is greater than or equal to K, N is greater than or equal to M, N and K are positive integers greater than 1, and M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1. This technical solution helps improve quality of an image obtained by the electronic device through screening, thereby improving user satisfaction with an image that is automatically obtained through screening during burst shooting by the electronic device.

Embodiments relate to the field of terminals and disclose a camera switching method for a terminal, and the terminal. In those embodiments, when the terminal is installed with a plurality of cameras, automatic and dynamic switching between the cameras may be implemented based on a to-be-photographed object, thereby improving a photographing effect of the to-be-photographed object. In those embodiment, the terminal may display, in response to a first operation of enabling a photographing function by a user, a first photographing picture captured by a first camera, where the first photographing picture includes a to-be-photographed object. A novel and useful hitless node insertion mechanism for configuring a new node to be inserted into an Ethernet network. The mechanism comprises pre-configuring the new node into a partially configured state, disconnecting a network link where the new node is to be inserted and connecting the new node to at least one end of the disconnected link. All data traffic received from neighboring nodes is then blocked and fake signal failure (SF) messages are generated and sent if Ethernet Ring Protection (ERP) messages are detected. An in-band management port is then selected and a configuration from a Network Management System (NMS) is received. Once configuration of the said new node is complete, the new node is set to a fully configured state.
