A leadless pacemaker () and trailing () and leading () components thereof are disclosed. The trailing component () includes a first connecting member () and a second connecting member (), and the leading component () includes a third connecting member () and a fourth connecting member (). The first connecting member () is configured to be detachably connected to the third connecting member () and the second connecting member () is configured to be detachably or non-detachably connected to the fourth connecting member (), thereby achieving interlocking between the trailing component () and the leading component (). Additionally, both the first connecting member () and the third connecting member () are non-biodegradable. At least one of the second connecting member () and the fourth connecting member () is biodegradable, or the second connecting member () is fitted and connected to the fourth connecting member () by an associated biodegradable connecting member. Thus, before the connecting member is degraded, it can be ensured that the trailing component () and the leading component () are firmly connected together by the four connecting members, facilitating overall retrieval or adjustment of the pacemaker (). Moreover, after the connecting member is degraded, the trailing component () can be easily retrieved.

Leadless pacemaker and tail end component and head end component thereof

A cardiac pacing system and a pacemaker fixation device are disclosed. The pacemaker fixation device includes a ring-shaped stent and at least one contractible member. The ring-shaped stent is configured to load a leadless pacemaker and easily fix it at a target site in a patient's body reliably without dislodgement. A connecting element in the contractible member can be reliably connected to an external mechanism, thus facilitating retrieval and removal of the cardiac pacing system with an increased success rate. During implantation, the contractible member can be adapted by operating the external mechanism to adjust the pacing location for the leadless pacemaker, thus allowing the operator to easily determine the best pacing location that can result in enhanced pacing performance of the leadless pacemaker. Further, the leadless pacemaker may be fixed in the atrium in order to pace the atrium, thus reducing non-physiological pacing with atrioventricular desynchronization.

Cardiac pacing system and pacemaker fixing device

A delivery device, a cardiac pacing device and a fixation structure are disclosed. The fixation structure includes a casing, a driving member and an elastic member. The casing has a first internal cavity and a slot, and the driving member is partially received in the first internal cavity in such a manner that one end of the driving member protrudes out of the first internal cavity from a proximal end thereof and is detachably connected to the driving sheath. The elastic member is accommodated in the first internal cavity in such a manner that its one end is coupled to the driving member and the other end extends outwardly from the driving member and is inserted in the slot. The driving member is configured for fitted connection with the casing while being able to move in an axial direction of the casing to drive the elastic member to move in the slot, thereby causing the elastic member to protrude out of or move back into the slot. As such, the cardiac pacing device can be fixed in a patient's body, allows retrieval and adjustment in pacing location, and features a simple structure, ease of operation, no limitation in tissue wall thickness and ease of fixation. Thus, the leadless pacing device can be fixed either in a ventricle or in an atrium to provide dual-chamber pacing and physiological pacing with atrioventricular synchronization.

The leadless pacemaker system includes: a pacemaker fixation system including a leadless pacemaker and an elastic unfoldable element attached thereto, wherein in an unfolded configuration of the elastic unfoldable element, it fixes the leadless pacemaker at a target location in a blood vessel in communication with the heart; a delivery system for delivering the pacemaker fixation system to the target location; and a guide for guiding the delivery system into the blood vessel. According to the present invention, atrial pacing can be achieved by the leadless pacemaker through fixing the leadless pacemaker in the blood vessel in communication with the heart with the elastic unfoldable element.

A proximal seal is sleeved over a socket end of the connector pin. A portion of the proximal seal is seated on the proximal extension of the connector insulator.
