A power converter and a method of controlling the power converter are provided. The power converter includes a PFC rectifier module and a DC-DC converter module. When the output voltage of the power converter is greater than or equal to a minimum limit value of the bus voltage output by the PFC rectifier module, the DC-DC converter module is operated in a constant-on mode in which the DC-DC converter module does not perform voltage conversion and the PFC rectifier module outputs the bus voltage which is adjusted according to the output voltage of the power converter. When the output voltage of the power converter is less than the minimum limit value, the DC-DC converter module is operated in a voltage-regulation mode in which the DC-DC converter module converts the bus voltage into the output voltage of the power converter, and the bus voltage is a constant value.

Power converter and method of controlling the same

A control method of an inverter circuit includes the following steps. Firstly, a half cycle of the AC output voltage is divided into a first stage and a second stage. Then, the upper switch element and the lower switch element are controlled to be operated at a first switching frequency lower than a preset threshold frequency in the first stage, so that the inverter circuit is operated in a continuous current mode. Then, the upper switch element or the lower switch element of the bridge arm is controlled to be operated at a second switching frequency in the second stage, so that the upper switch element and the lower switch element are turned on at a preset voltage level and the inverter circuit is operated at a discontinuous current mode boundary mode.

Control method of inverter circuit

A switch power converter and method of testing and adjusting is provided. A switch power unit comprises at least a power switch for transform of the power. A controller is configured to generate a control signal for the power switch. A detector is configured to detect an output voltage signal and/or an output current signal of the switch power unit and output a sampling signal. A testing and adjusting unit is configured to receive the sampling signal and output a testing signal to the controller. The testing and adjusting unit comprises a compensator. The compensator attends the testing and adjusting of the switch power converter. An AC disturbing signal various in frequency causes the difference in the sampling signal and the testing signal so as to test open-loop transfer function of the switch power converter, the compensator compensates frequency response characteristic of the switch power converter, when the frequency response characteristic of the switch power converter doesn't match a target frequency response characteristic.

Switch power converter and frequency response characteristic testing and adjusting method thereof

The present application discloses a power converter and a controlling method thereof. The power converter at least comprises an inductor, a parasitic capacitor, an energy storage switch and a free-wheeling switch, and the controlling method is used for enabling the energy storage switch to maintain zero-voltage turn-on during the normal operation of the power converter. The controlling method comprising: within a switching period, the free-wheeling switch is turned on again for a preset time after the free-wheeling switch is turned on and turned off for the first time and after the inductor and the parasitic capacitor resonate, so that a voltage between two terminals of the energy storage switch can decline to zero, and when the voltage between two terminals of the energy storage switch declines to zero, the energy storage switch is turned on, thereby entering the next switching period of the power converter.
