A voltage stabilizing circuit includes an input capacitor, a booster circuit having an input side coupled across the input capacitor, a first output capacitor coupled to an output side of the booster circuit, and a series connection of a first power switch and a second output capacitor coupled between two terminals of the first output capacitor. The first power switch has a terminal coupled to one terminal of the first output capacitor. The second output capacitor has a first terminal coupled to the other terminal of the first power switch at a common node, and a second terminal coupled to the other terminal of the first output capacitor. A second power switch is coupled between the input capacitor and the common node.

Voltage stabilizing circuit

A direct current voltage conversion device includes a direct current to alternating current converter, a transformer, a first converter switch, a second converter switch and a clamping circuit. The clamping circuit clamps a voltage across the second converter switch to a preset value, and stores energy of a voltage peak across the second converter switch.

Direct current voltage conversion device and clamping circuit

A power conversion device includes a full-bridge switch circuit, a converter circuit, and a control circuit. The full-bridge switch circuit is operable to convert a direct current input voltage to a converted voltage. The converter circuit converts the converted voltage into a direct current output voltage. The converter circuit includes a resonant inductor, a transformer, a first converter switch, a second converter switch, an output inductor, and an output capacitor. The direct current output voltage is provided across the output capacitor. The control circuit controls the full-bridge switch circuit, the first converter switch and the second converter switch based on the direct current output voltage and a reference voltage.

Power conversion device

An alternating current (AC)/direct current (DC) adaptor is to be coupled electrically with an electronic device having an electrical property, and includes a DC/DC converter that receives a DC voltage signal and a control signal, and that adjusts the DC voltage signal according to the control signal to obtain an output DC voltage signal. A device discriminator receives the output DC voltage signal, and generates, according to the output DC voltage signal and the electrical property, a device indication signal set. A controller obtains a target value according to the device indication signal set, and outputs the control signal according to an initial value or the target value to control voltage value of the output DC voltage signal provided to the electronic device.

Alternating current/direct current adaptor and self-adaptive voltage output method

A control method is provided for controlling an asymmetric DC-DC converter including first and second power switches that are driven respectively by first and second control signals, and a voltage-converting circuit that is operatively associated with the first and second power switches for generating an output signal. The voltage-converting circuit includes a primary coil unit and a secondary coil unit operatively associated therewith for voltage conversion, and including first and second coils that have a turn ratio not equal to one. The control method includes: sampling the output signal to obtain a sample signal corresponding thereto; and generating the first and second control signals, which correspond respectively to first and second duty cycles having a sum of one, based on a comparison between the sample signal and a reference signal such that the first and second power switches are driven in an alternating manner.

Control method and control module for controlling an asymmetric DC-DC converter

A power supply device for providing an output voltage includes a first resonant converter, a second resonant converter, a first converting circuit, and a current regulating circuit. The first resonant converter is for converting a first input voltage into the output voltage. The second resonant converter is for converting a second input voltage into the output voltage. The output ends of the first and second resonant converters are coupled in parallel. The first converting circuit is coupled to the first resonant converter and is operable to provide the first input voltage to the first resonant converter. The current regulating circuit receives signals related to output currents of the first and second resonant converters, and drives operation of the first converting circuit according to the signals received thereby such that the output currents of the first and second resonant converters have substantially equal magnitudes.

Power supply device and uniform current control method

Provided is a resonance converting apparatus. The resonance converting apparatus preferably includes a resonant circuit, a bridge-type converter, and a synchronous rectification circuit. In which the resonant circuit has a transformer. The bridge-type converter connects with a primary side of the transformer, and operates open or close according to a switching signal. The synchronous rectification circuit further includes a pair of rectification transistors and driving circuits. The driving circuits correspondingly connect with channels to the rectification transistors, and respectively examine the current passing through the rectification transistors. A sensing signal is then generated. In accordance with the switching signal and the sensing signal, a driving signal is generated for driving the rectification transistor. Consequently the apparatus can raise the efficiency of the resonance converting apparatus.

Resonance converting apparatus and synchronous rectification circuit

A frequency-hopping control method is performed by a frequency-hopping control module that generates a driving signal for driving a voltage converting circuit to generate an output voltage. The method includes, generating a control signal according to a regulating signal inversely proportional to the output voltage of the voltage converting circuit. The control signal is cyclical, and each cycle of which includes an off-time having a variable duration with an inverse relation to magnitude of the regulating signal, and an on-time having a substantially fixed duration. The driving signal is generated according to the control signal and a periodic pulse signal. Therefore, the output voltage can be stabilized, and the voltage converting circuit can perform voltage conversion with reduced power loss and improved voltage conversion efficiency.

Frequency-hopping control method and module, and DC/DC converter

A center-tapped transformer includes a spool, a first primary winding unit, and first and second secondary winding units. The spool has a surrounding wall defining a spool axis, and a partition plate unit extending in radial outward directions from the surrounding wall so as to divide the spool into axially extending first and second spool parts. The partition plate unit cooperates with the surrounding wall to define at least one notch. The first primary winding unit surrounds the first spool part and passes through the notch to surround the second spool part. The first and second secondary winding units are disposed on one side of the first primary winding unit and surround the first and second spool parts, respectively.

Center-tapped transformer

A power supply device includes first and second power factor correctors, and first and second resonant circuits. The first and second power factor correctors are for receiving an alternating current (AC) input voltage, and are driven by first and second driving signals for rectifying the AC input voltage to generate first and second driving voltages, respectively. The first and second resonant circuits are coupled to the first and second power factor correctors for receiving the first and second driving voltages, respectively, and have output sides that are coupled in parallel for outputting an output voltage. The first power factor corrector and the first resonant circuit in combination is parallel-connected to the second power factor corrector and the second resonant circuit in combination.

Power supply device

A center-tapped transformer includes tubular first and second spools, a primary winding unit, and first and second secondary winding units. The first spool has a first surrounding wall, a first pin-mounting wall, and a first pin set mounted on the first pin-mounting wall. The second spool has a second surrounding wall, a second pin-mounting wall, and a second pin set mounted on the second pin-mounting wall. The second surrounding wall has an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the first surrounding wall. The primary winding unit is wound on one of the first and second surrounding walls. The first and second secondary winding units are wound on the other one of the first and second surrounding walls.

A controller is adapted for controlling a switch of a resonant direct current/direct current converter, and includes: a pulse width modulation controlling unit for detecting an output voltage of the resonant direct current/direct current converter, and for generating a pulse width modulation signal according to the output voltage detected thereby; a fixed frequency signal generating unit for generating a fixed frequency signal; and a logic synthesizing unit for synthesizing the pulse width modulation signal and the fixed frequency signal so as to generate a driving signal that is adapted to drive the switch of the resonant direct current/direct current converter.

Controller for use in a resonant direct current/direct current converter

A control device for controlling a switch unit of a resonant direct current/direct current converter includes a frequency modulation controller and a pulse selector. The frequency modulation controller is adapted to be coupled electrically to the converter for receiving a correcting threshold value and output information of the converter, and for generating a synchronization signal according to the correcting threshold value and the output information received thereby. The pulse selector is adapted to be coupled electrically to the converter and the frequency modulation controller for receiving the correcting threshold value, the output information and the synchronization signal, and for generating a driving signal according to the correcting threshold value, the output information and the synchronization signal received thereby. The driving signal is adapted to drive the switch unit and has a working period. The driving signal switches between high and low signal levels at a frequency that is substantially equal to that of the synchronization signal during the working period.
