In the touch detection circuit of the present invention, when a signal detection unit detects a change in a common voltage signal of a common electrode, a switch unit is controlled to be turned off, so as to avoid inaccurate detection of a touch position due to a spike pulse in the common voltage signal of the common electrode. The touch detection circuit of the present invention detects a touch position accurately and is simple in structure.
