A solid state lighting lamp () is disclosed comprising a plurality of heatsink modules () each extending in alignment with a central axis () of the lamp, each heatsink module carrying a plurality of solid state lighting elements (); and a body () extending in alignment with said central axis and delimiting an inner volume of the lamp, wherein the heatsink modules are affixed to said body. The body is the optical housing, i.e. the light exit window of the lamp.

Solid state lighting lamp

A tubular LED lighting device () comprising an LED, a driver () for driving the LED, and an electrical connector (). The lighting device further comprises a thermally triggered switch () for prevention of overheating of the electrical connector. The thermally triggered switch is connected in series between the electrical connector and the driver, and the thermally triggered switch is configured to interrupt current in the event of the temperature of the electrical connector meeting a triggering condition. If a significant degree of arcing occurs the electrical connector will heat up such that the triggering condition will be met and the current flow between the electrical connector and the driver will be interrupted. There is also provided a luminaire () comprising the tubular LED lighting device.

Lighting device and luminaire

A lighting device () is disclosed comprising a light engine () comprising at least one solid state lighting element (); a controller () for controlling a dimming level of the light engine; a wireless communication module () communicatively coupled to the controller for receiving a wireless dimming instruction from a wireless controller (); and a further communication module () communicatively coupled to the controller for connecting to a wired communication channel and for receiving a further dimming instruction from a further controller () wired to the further communication module through the wired communication channel; wherein the controller is adapted to independently control the dimming level of the light engine in response to the wireless dimming instruction and the further dimming instruction.
