A fetch process for a computing system is described herein. The computing system comprises a non-transitory memory. In the non-transitory memory, instructions are stored in Cycle-Redundancy Blocks (CRC blocks). Each of these CRC blocks comprises a first CRC code associated with the instructions stored in the CRC block. During a fetch process, the computing system generates a second CRC code based on the instructions stored in the CRC block and compares the second CRC code with the first CRC code to ascertain the success of the fetch process.

Systems and methods for fetching and writing instructions to memory

A method for accelerating sleep startup speed is provided. The method may include determining that a system-on-chip (SoC) is under a sleep mode; determining that a wake-up condition is met; calculating a second authentication key based on data stored in a flash memory of the SoC using a cryptographic algorithm; comparing the second authentication key with a first authentication key, wherein the first authentication key is associated with a secure boot of the SoC and obtained from an Always On (AON) memory of the SoC; and in response to a comparison result that the first authentication key is the same as the second authentication key, waking the SoC up from the sleep mode.

A method for resisting fault injection attacks during secure boot is provided. The method may include: performing a secure check on a System-on-Chip (SoC), wherein one or more pre-determined values are written on one or more bits of a first register of the SoC during the secure check; reading one or more corresponding bits of a second register of the SoC; and comparing the values of the one or more bits of the second register with the values of the one or more corresponding bits of the first register. In response to a comparison result that the values of the one or more bits of the second register are the same as the values of the one or more corresponding bits of the first register, the SoC is booted.

Method for resisting fault injection attacks in secure boot

Provided is a method for automatically calibrating wireless frequency offsets. The method includes following steps: a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) wireless transmission module monitors or scans a specific data packet of an access point (AP); the Wi-Fi wireless transmission module acquires a frequency offset between a central frequency of the Wi-Fi wireless transmission module and a central frequency of the AP according to the specific data packet; the Wi-Fi wireless transmission module executes frequency offset tracking according to the frequency offset to control the Wi-Fi wireless transmission module to calculate a central frequency according to a frequency offset acquired for a surrounding AP of the Wi-Fi wireless transmission module in such a way that each of the calculated central frequency and the frequency offset for the surrounding AP is in a preset standard, and adjusts the central frequency of the Wi-Fi wireless transmission module according to the calculated central frequency. Provided is also a device for automatically calibrating wireless frequency offsets.

A discharge tube arrangement for a compact fluorescent lamp is provided. The tube forms a continuous arc path and has electrodes disposed at each end of the arc path. The discharge tube arrangement comprises a first cold chamber in order to control and maintain a required mercury vapor pressure. The first cold chamber is located in a longitudinal end portion of the tube arrangement. The discharge tube arrangement is further provided with at least one second cold chamber, which is positioned between the longitudinal end portions of the discharge tube arrangement. The at least one second cold chamber is positioned on the wall of the tube, and has a cold chamber wall protruding substantially away from the central axis of the discharge tube arrangement. The discharge tube arrangement may have a coiled configuration with helical tube portions or a multifinger configuration with straight tube members.
