Disclosed is a water softener that includes a water softener valve and an ion exchange tank. The water softener valve includes a valve body and valve core assembly. The valve body includes a valve chamber, and a water inlet passage and a water outlet passage in communication with the valve chamber. The valve chamber, the water inlet passage, and the water outlet passage all extend in a first orientation, and the water inlet passage and the water outlet passage are both located at a periphery of the valve chamber and are disposed on opposite sides of the valve chamber in a second orientation. The water inlet passage and the water outlet passage respectively define a water inlet and a water outlet at a same end of the valve body along the first orientation. The second orientation and the first orientation are perpendicular to each other.

The present disclosure discloses a water softener valve and a water softener, the water softener valve includes a valve body, including a valve cavity, a water inlet passage that is communicated with the valve cavity, a forward washing passage, a backwashing passage, an ejecting passage, a softening inlet passage, a softening outlet passage, a waste water passage, and a saline solution suction passage; a valve core assembly is provided with a forward washing position and a backwashing washing position, at the forward washing position; and a switching unit, the switching unit is defined to communicate the forward washing passage with the ejecting passage, when the valve core assembly is at the forward washing position; and to communicate the backwashing passage with the ejecting passage, when the valve core assembly is at the backwashing position.

A water purification system includes: a composite filter-cartridge assembly, a booster pump, a waste water solenoid valve and a water storage device. The composite filter-cartridge assembly includes a filtering housing and a composite filter-cartridge. The filtering housing has a raw water inlet, a pure water opening, a pure water outlet and a concentrated water outlet. The composite filter-cartridge includes a filtering assembly and a taste improvement filter-cartridge disposed downstream from the filtering assembly. The pure water opening is coupled to a water outlet end of the filtering assembly and a water inlet end of the taste improvement filter-cartridge. The booster pump is connected to the raw water inlet, the waste water solenoid valve is connected to the concentrated water outlet, and the water storage device is connected to the pure water opening.
