Approaches are described for managing effects such as interference, crosstalk, and other types of noise in an electronic environment using a physical and/or electronic switch to improve electrode performance of a measurement system. Such approaches enable a component, such as a sensing electrode or other proximity sensing component of a measurement system of a computing device (e.g., a mobile phone, tablet computer, etc.) or other electronic device to be collocated, or otherwise placed in proximity, with one or more potential noise producing components, such as a ground plane, which can interfere or otherwise degrade the performance (i.e., electrode efficiency and/or electrode sensitivity) of the sensing electrode of the measurement system.

Systems and methods to improve sensor sensitivity and range in an electronic computing device

Approaches are described for managing the processing of image data via an electronic device. In particular, various embodiments enable a component, or combination of components, such as one or more camera interface components or other such interface components, to be integrated into a computing device (e.g., a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a wearable device, etc.) to manage the processing of image data captured by one or more cameras of the computing device. For example, one or more camera interface components, such as a camera interface circuit, can allow for coupling at least two cameras to a single input camera port of a processor component.

Camera interfaces for electronic devices

Embodiments of the subject technology provide for controlling desense in a mobile computing device. At an application processor of a mobile computing device, a drive strength of an input clock signal is increased. The input clock signal with the increased drive strength is then provided to a filter circuit that performs low-pass filtering to block high frequency RF and EMI noise from the input clock signal. The filtered input clock signal is provided to respective camera clock units of a front-facing camera or a rear-facing camera of the mobile computing device for operating the front-facing and rear-facing cameras.

Reducing camera master clock desense

Systems and approaches integrate a radio frequency (RF) or near field communications (NFC) antenna with a display and/or touch component of an electronic device. The device can be incorporated with RF or NFC technology without having to increase the thickness of the device. The RF or NFC antenna can be formed during fabrication of the display and/or touch component, which can result in simpler manufacturing processes. One or more segments of the RF or NFC antenna can each be formed from a single or multiple scan/signal lines of the display component and/or a single or multiple drive/sense lines of the touch component. Additional circuitry can be added during manufacture of the display and/or touch component to enable the device to switch between a mode of operation for display and touch and a mode of operation for RF or NFC.
