An electrical connector for electrically connecting a chip module to a circuit board includes a body for upwardly bearing the chip module. The body is provided with multiple accommodating holes. Each accommodating hole has a first groove and a second groove, and a width of the second groove is less than a width of the first groove. Multiple terminals are correspondingly accommodated in the accommodating holes. Each terminal includes: a base, accommodated in the first groove; an extending portion, bending and extending from one side of the base and accommodated in the second groove; a conducting portion, provided on a bottom portion of the terminal to be electrically connected with the circuit board; and an elastic portion, formed by upwardly bending and extending from the extending portion to abut the chip module.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector for electrically connecting a chip module to a circuit board includes an insulating body, and a plurality of terminals. Each of the terminals has a base accommodated in the insulating body and a mating portion contacting a conductive sheet of the chip module. A plurality of supporting portions extend upward from an upper surface of the insulating body, and an upper end of each of the supporting portions is provided with a crumple portion located below the mating portion of one of the terminals. The chip module is mounted on the electrical connector, the conductive sheet presses the mating portion, the mating portion abuts the crumple portion, and the crumple portion is pressed so that a height of the crumple portion is decreased.

An electrical connector configured to electrically connect to a chip module includes: a body, provided with at least one accommodating hole, where the body has a protruding block provided to protrude upward from one side of the accommodating hole, and the protruding block is configured to support the chip module upward; and at least one terminal, correspondingly accommodated in the at least one accommodating hole. The terminal includes a base, accommodated in the accommodating hole; an elastic arm, formed by extending forward from the base, located at one side of the protruding block, and configured to be electrically connected with the chip module; and a through slot, running vertically through the elastic arm. The protruding block has a rear end. The base is located behind the rear end, and the through slot extends forward beyond the rear end.

A receptacle connector includes a receiving slot, a mating plate slidably received in the receiving slot, an ejection mechanism, and a resetting mechanism. The mating plate is exposed at a front end of the receiving slot and is provided with a urging portion and a first engaging portion. The ejection mechanism is provided with a stopping portion for correspondingly stopping the urging portion, so that the ejection mechanism can drive the mating plate to slide outwards. The resetting mechanism is provided with a second engaging portion for being correspondingly engaged with the first engaging portion, so that the resetting mechanism can drive the mating plate to return to an original position.
