A shock absorbing screw includes a locking member, a friction member sleeved on the locking member, and a connecting frame sleeved on the friction member. The shock absorbing screw is connected to a hard disk by a connecting portion of the shock absorbing screw. An abutting portion of the shock absorbing screw is connected to the friction member. The connecting portion is passed through a second through hole defined in the friction member. A first end of the connecting frame includes a first clamping portion, a second end of the connecting frame includes a second clamping portion, and a second groove is defined between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion. The shock absorbing screw is connected to a hard disk frame in the second groove. The friction member is connected to the connecting frame through a first through hole defined in the connecting frame.

Shock absorbing screw for connecting hard disk to hard disk frame

A chassis includes a frame and a fixing bracket for fixing an expansion card to the frame. The frame defines at least one card hole and includes a side hook. The fixing bracket includes a bracket body, at least one rotating hook fixed to the bracket body and a movable hook fixed to the bracket body. The rotating hook and the movable hook are not in the same plane. When the at least rotating hook is inserted into the at least one card hole and the bracket body is rotated in a first direction to a predetermined position, the rotating hook is locked in the card hole, and the movable hook is hooked on the side hook to make the bracket body fix an expansion card to the frame.

Fixing bracket and chassis using the same

A mounting apparatus includes an enclosure for mounting a receiving member, a bracket, and a movable member mounted to the enclosure. The receiving member is configured to receive an electronic component. The bracket includes a bracket body movably mounted to the enclosure and an operating member mounted to the bracket body. The movable member includes a movable body and a movable block mounted to the movable body. The movable body is mounted to the bracket body. The operating member is pressed in a first direction toward the enclosure to drive the bracket body to rotate, the movable body moves a second direction away from the enclosure, thereby the movable block can move in a third direction away from the enclosure to push the electronic component and the electronic component can move in the second direction. The third direction is different from the first direction.

Mounting apparatus

An electronic device enclosure includes a top panel and a handling device. The top panel defines a mounting opening. The handling device includes a handling member, a cover member, and an elastic member. The handling member is mounted to the top panel. The handling member defines a receiving opening corresponding to the mounting opening. The cover member is pivotally mounted to the handling member and is received in the receiving opening. The elastic member elastically resists an inner side of the cover member. The cover member is received in the receiving opening in a first position. The elastic member elastically resists an inner side of the cover member in the first position. The cover member is configured to rotate inward to move from the first position to a second position. The elastic member is deformed when the cover member is in the second position.

Electronic device enclosure

A computing device includes a chassis, a motherboard, a mounting plate, and a disk drive module attached to the mounting plate. The chassis includes a base panel and a pair of side panels connected to opposite sides of the base panel. The motherboard is mounted on the base panel. The mounting plate is secured to the pair of side panels and is inclined at an angle relative to the base panel. The disk drive module is inclined at the same angle as the mounting plate. At least one expansion card is attached substantially perpendicular to the motherboard. The disk drive module includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The first end is located higher than a top edge of the at least one expansion card. The second end is located lower than the at least one the expansion card.

Computing device with disk drive module

A computer enclosure includes a chassis, a cover detachably mounted to the chassis, and a rotary member pivotably attached to the cover. The chassis includes at least one assembly slot defined therein. A sliding member is slidably installed in the cover. At least one hook is formed on the sliding member and engaged in the assembly slot of the chassis. The rotary member is capable of being rotated to drive the sliding member to slide in the cover, thereby disengaging the hook from the assembly slot.

Computer enclosure

A monitor stand includes an upper support member () for supporting a monitor thereon, and a lower support member (). The lower support member comprises a fixed piece (), a slidable piece () slidably attached to the fixed piece for supporting a notebook computer connected to the monitor, the slidable piece being slidable in a first direction, a clutch () movable between the fixed piece and the slidable piece in a second direction generally perpendicular to the first direction to selectively engage the fixed piece so that the slidable piece is tightly held in place relative to the fixed piece, and a button () enabling the clutch to be disengaged from the fixed piece so that the slidable piece is free to slide relative to the fixed piece.

Monitor stand

An electrical connector adapted for mounting on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB), comprises an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals loaded in the insulative housing and a board lock device assembled in the insulative housing. The insulative housing comprises a base portion having a PCB mounting face and a mating portion extending from the base portion. The base portion defines a boardlock-receiving cavity and is formed with a block adjacent to the cavity. The board lock device comprises a retaining plate retained in the cavity and substantially parallel to the PCB mounting face of the base portion and a lock plate perpendicularly extending from the retaining plate beyond the PCB mounting face of the base portion for locking with the PCB. The retaining plate is supported by the block for preventing the board lock device from moving along a direction perpendicular to the PCB mounting face of the base portion.
