A memory device protection manager determines an estimated remaining life of a physical memory device. By comparing the estimated remaining life of the physical memory device to a threshold value, the memory device protection manager determines whether a drive protection condition has been triggered. When the drive protection condition is triggered, the memory device protection manager modifies a write performance for subsequent data units to a modified write performance rate. The modified write performance rate is an upper limit on the write performance for the subsequent data units.

Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a method, a device, and a computer-readable storage medium for testing a basic input output system (BIOS). The method comprises: acquiring a target attribute of a target menu of a BIOS of a test machine; determining a path to the target menu based on a menu map of the BIOS, wherein the menu map is obtained by performing image identification on a BIOS interface of the test machine; and causing the BIOS of the test machine to enter the target menu based on the path so as to modify the attribute of the target menu into the target attribute.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a server management method and a management device. The method comprises determining whether a USB device is connected to the server, the USB device including a permission of a respective user to the server. The method further comprises: in response to determining that the USB device is connected to the server, transmitting the permission to the server to enable the server to be operated based on the permission.
