An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing; a terminal module received by the insulative housing, the terminal module including an insulator, a plurality of terminals, and an internal, horizontal printed circuit board (PCB) carrying plural magnetic components; and a shielding shell enclosing the insulative housing and the PCB, wherein the insulative housing has a pair of restraining slots receiving a front of the insulator, and the shielding shell has a pair of abutting arms received between the insulator and the PCB.

An optical module includes an optical transceiver and the fastening structure wherein the optical transceiver includes a body, a plurality of first connecting legs extending along a first direction from the body, a plurality of second connecting legs extending initially from the body along the second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and successively along the first direction. The fastening structure includes a plurality of through holes through which the first connecting legs and the second connecting legs extend so as to be mounting to an external printed circuit board under said optical module.

A stacked receptacle connector includes an insulative housing forming a first receiving cavity extending along a front-to-back direction, a second receiving cavity stacked on the first receiving cavity along a vertical direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction, and a mounting cavity located behind and communicating with the first and second receiving cavities. A printed circuit board (PCB) is mounted to the mounting cavity. A first connector having a front portion received in the first receiving cavity and a rear portion connected to the PCB. The first connector is fitted to be inserted by a first plug connector along two opposite direction. A plurality of contacts each has a mating portion received in the second receiving cavity and a mounting portion connected with the PCB. A plurality of footer pins connected the PCB to electrically connect the first connector and the contacts to an exterior substrate.

Optical network terminal

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a shell covering the insulative housing, and a flange mounted to the shell. The insulative housing has a front face, a number of outer faces, and a receiving cavity extending through the front face for receiving a mating connector. The shell has a front wall and a number of outer walls covering the housing front and outer faces, respectively. The flange has a mating sleeve mounted to the shell and a mating flange portion for engaging a panel along a front-to-back direction. The mating sleeve is bent from a material band, and the mating flange portion is bent from the mating sleeve. The mating flange portion is substantially perpendicular to and resiliently flexible relative to the mating sleeve.

A modular jack has a magnetic assembly including insulative body, two rows of terminals retained to the insulative body, four transformers, and four common mode chokes. Each of the transformer and common mode choke includes a magnetic core and a plurality of conductive wires wound therearound. Each terminal has a recess for receiving an end portions of a corresponding wire and then the terminal is inserted into a through-hole of an internal printed circuit board for dip soldering. Guiding of the wire to the recess can be automated in contrast to manual winding operation.

The magnetic module has a printed circuit board (PCB) and a transformer mounted thereon. The transformer is connected in one of the signal channels and comprises an H-shaped magnetic core, a magnetic board a primary coil having a first magnetic wire and a second magnetic wire, and a secondary coil having a third magnetic wire and a fourth magnetic wire. The wires have specific parameters to suit specific needs.
