Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system automatically downloads a software application and a routing map to a robot of a smart home (SH) in a smart community (SC); the application facilitates communication between the robot and a smart home controller (SHC) of the SH, and the routing map facilitates determining by the robot of a route to the SH when the robot is at a location outside a preconfigured range of operation for the robot. The method also includes initiating a procedure for dispatching to the location of the robot a carrier robot to transport the robot to the SH, responsive to a request for transport of the robot; the request is directed to the SHC using the software application, and the request is in accordance with the robot not being configured for autonomous movement. Method and apparatus to provide communication and transport for a robot of a smart community

A processing system including at least one processor may gather first imaging data associated with an infrastructure item via at least a first imaging device, where the first imaging data represents a first condition of the infrastructure item, and gather second imaging data associated with the infrastructure item via at least a second imaging device, where at least one of the at least the first imaging device or the at least the second imaging device is mounted on a vehicle, and where the infrastructure item is visible from a road on which the vehicle operates. The processing system may then determine a second condition of the infrastructure item in accordance with the second imaging data, where the second condition comprises a potentially unsafe condition of the infrastructure item, and generate a report of the potentially unsafe condition of the infrastructure item in response to the determining.

Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to anticipatory supply chain coordination with connected vehicle fleet and unmanned aerial vehicle ('UAV') integrations. According to one aspect disclosed herein, an energy provider system can obtain connected vehicle information from a connected vehicle. The connected vehicle information can include a vehicle identifier that uniquely identifies the connected vehicle, an energy capacity remaining for the connected vehicle, and a current location of the connected vehicle. The energy provider system can obtain order information from an inventory management system. The order information can include a destination location to which a physical order is to be delivered. The energy provider system can determine a route to the destination location based, at least in part, upon the energy capacity remaining and the current location. The energy provider system can then provide the route to the connected vehicle.

Anticipatory supply chain coordination with connected vehicle fleet and unmanned aerial vehicle integrations

Apparatuses and methods for enhancing network controls based on communication device information

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system configures one or more robots to perform tasks in an establishment, and assigns to the robots privileges and/or priorities in accordance with a policy. The method also includes detecting a situation in the establishment requiring performance of a task; facilitating the performance of the task by at least one of the robots; and dynamically reprogramming at least one of the robots in response to the situation to perform a specialized task to address the situation. Method and apparatus for inter-networking and multilevel control for devices in smart homes and smart communities

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a capability of a mobile device, collecting a mobile station measurement, applying a rule according to the capability and measurement to obtain a radio access network (RAN) recommendation that identifies one of a first or second RANs as a preferred RAN, wherein a service is provided to the device via the preferred RAN. The first RAN comprises a first base station that supports a first exchange of user data and corresponding control signaling to facilitate access to a first set of services. The second RAN comprises a second base station adapted to support a second exchange of user data and a third base station adapted to support a corresponding exchange of control signaling to facilitate access to a second set of services. A flexible service-based architecture (SBA) for next generation communication networks is described. In an embodiment, a method performed by a system comprising a processor comprises receiving a service request for provision of a data communication service to a communication device via a communication network comprising a plurality of different network resources defined by resource components and sub-components of the resource components. In response to receiving the service request, accessing network resource abstraction information that identifies the resource components, and the sub-components respectively associated with the resource components, and selecting a subset of the different network resources for the provision of the data communication service to the communication device based a service criterion associated with the data communication service. The method further comprises facilitating, by the system, the provision of the data communication service to the communication device via the communication network using the subset of the different network resources.

Flexible service based architecture for advanced communication networks

A framework for a 6generation (6G) ubiquitous wireless communications network is provided. The framework includes obtaining first information associated with a first condition of a terrestrial radio network from a terrestrial controller that collects the first information from the terrestrial radio networks; determining second information associated with a resource of a satellite network, where a defined application is alternatively executable at the mobile device via any of a group of networks, the group comprising the satellite network and the terrestrial radio networks, and determining whether to re-assign the defined application from the terrestrial radio network to the satellite network based on a result of evaluating at least the first condition.

Aspects of the subject disclosure include, for example, identifying a primary serving cell and a secondary serving cell, wherein the primary serving cell facilitates one of attachment, re-attachment or mobility, or any combination thereof, of a mobile device in association with coordination of a wireless service between the primary serving cell, the secondary serving cell and the mobile device. A latency value associated with a message exchange is determined between the primary and secondary serving cells via a messaging interface, and compared to latency requirements, which correspond to a group of mobile service features. A mobile service feature of the group is associated with the wireless service based on the comparison. The wireless service includes a coordinated exchange of wireless signals between the primary serving cell and the mobile device and between the secondary serving cell and the mobile device based on the mobile service feature. System and method for dynamic feature selection based on latency discovery

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining first positional information comprising a location of a non-stationary entity mobile within an environment, the first positional information obtained from a service provider monitoring a positional status of the non-stationary entity within the environment. A path of the non-stationary entity is predicted according to the first positional information. A delivery device mobile within the environment is directed according to the predicted path to deliver an item to the non-stationary entity. Second positional information is obtained, identifying a location of the delivery device within the environment. A separation distance is calculated between the location of the non-stationary entity and the location of the delivery device within the environment and a delivery opportunity is detected based upon the separation distance not exceeding a threshold distance. Precision delivery of items to moving targets utilizing network-provided position information

In a 6G network, microservices can be utilized in the absence of a core network. For example, after a mobile device has authenticated, when the mobile device moves away from mobile edge computing (MEC) coverage, the information from the MEC can be ported to a new MEC along the way of the mobile device's path. The initial MEC can send service related application package data to one or more neighboring MECs. When a neighboring MEC of the neighboring MECs receives the service related application package data and the neighboring MEC serves the area which the mobile device is transitioning to, then the neighboring MEC can send an acknowledgment back to the initial MEC. Once the acknowledgment is received by the initial MEC, the initial MEC can complete the handover of the application data needed to reduce or mitigate any disruption in service for the mobile device.

Aggregation of application and systems for services for 6G or other next generation network

Connectionless mobility management techniques across different wireless technologies are provided. In an embodiment, a method comprises obtaining, by a controller device that comprises a processor and that is part of a communication network employing a relativistic routing protocol (RRP), condition information regarding operating conditions associated with different access point devices, wherein the communication network comprises router agent devices respectively connected to the different access point devices that communicatively couple the different access point devices to a server device via respective communication links to a router device. The method further comprises determining, by the controller device based on the operating condition information, an assignment of the different access point devices to mobile devices for usage as serving nodes for the mobile devices, and controlling, by the controller device, latency settings of the respective communication links for the mobile devices based on the assignment.

Connectionless mobility management for hybrid networks using relativistic routing protocol

Facilitating unified mobility management for metaverse and physical worlds in advanced networks is provided herein. Operations of a system include determining a change has occurred to a service parameter of a user equipment executing a metaverse experience. The metaverse experience can include a combination of first usage of a first resource selected from a first group of resources associated with a physical world and second usage of a second resource selected from a second group of resources associated with a virtual world. The operations can also include executing a mobility management microservice for the user equipment, wherein the mobility management microservice is selected based on a type of the change to the service parameter.
