A test fixture includes a first RS-232 connector and a second RS-232 connector. The data terminal ready (DTR) pin of the first RS-232 connector is connected to the DTR pin of the second RS-232 connector, and the clear to send (CTS) pin of the first RS-232 connector is connected to the CTS pin of the second RS-232 connector. The DTR pins are further connected to a power pin of each of the test computers. The test fixture sets a high level voltage for the connected DTR pins, and sets a low level voltage for the connected CTS pins according to the commands of turning on the test computers sent by the control computer, to turn on the test computers. An auto shutdown software included in each of the test computers is executed to shut down the test computers.

Test fixture and method using the DTR pins and CTS pins of RS-232 connectors for automatically turning on computers

A switching module is for connecting a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) device to a plurality of fans under test. The switching module includes a print circuit board (PCB), and a plurality of groups of signal connectors arranged on the PCB. Each group of signal connectors includes a first port, a second port, and a third port interconnected with each other. The first port is for connecting to a testing port of an external PWM device. The second port is for connecting one corresponding fan of the plurality of fans. The third port is for connecting an interface of a server motherboard.

A memory holding apparatus includes a main pole and an inserting pole. The main pole includes a main portion and a first holding portion perpendicularly extending from a first end of the main portion. A second end of the main portion defines a receiving hole extending to the first holding portion. A sidewall of the main portion defines an opening. An elastic blocking piece extends from a side bounding the opening. A hook extends from an inside wall of the blocking piece. The inserting pole includes an inserting portion and a second holding portion perpendicularly extending from a first end of the inserting portion. The inserting portion defines a groove from a second end of the inserting portion extending to the second holding portion. A number of blocks extend from a bottom of the groove. The hook is selectively engaged with one of the blocks.

Memory holding apparatus

An exemplary computer case includes an external shell, a circuit board received in the external shell, and a dehumidification device. The circuit board includes a PCI socket providing an auxiliary power supply when the computer shuts down but the computer case retains electrical connection with an external AC power source. The dehumidification device includes a dehumidification card received in the PCI socket for obtaining the auxiliary power supply therefrom and a remote device. The dehumidification card includes a fan for generating airflow to remove moisture from the computer case and a sensor detecting a humidity inside the computer case. The remote device includes a display unit for displaying the result. When the humidity exceeds a predetermined value, the computer is not powered up until the fan evacuates the excess moisture from the computer case and the humidity falls below the predetermined value.

Computer case with dehumidification

An exemplary fan assembly includes a fan and a muffler. The fan includes an air outlet. The muffler is disposed at the air outlet of the fan. The muffler includes a base plate. The base plate defines vents therein and blades thereon corresponding to the air outlet of the fan. The blades extend from the base plate toward the fan. An electronic device incorporating the fan assembly is also provided.
