A control valve according to the present invention is configured such that when a third opening part, which is an auxiliary opening part, and a third discharge opening, which is an auxiliary connection opening, do not overlap, the third opening part and a continuous discharge opening overlap. Thus, for example, when a flow rate of cooling water for continuous circulation is required, such as during a cold start, cooling water guided through an internal passage is discharged via the continuous discharge opening in addition to cooling water guided from a bypass passage, thereby ensuring a sufficient flow rate of cooling water for continuous circulation.

Control valve

A flow rate control valve has a housing including a valve body and a main communication hole and auxiliary communication holes. The valve body includes a fluid inflow portion, a main opening portion and auxiliary opening portions formed on the valve body circumferential wall and establish fluid communication. A seal member is provided between the main communication hole and the valve body, and configured to seal between the valve body and the main communication hole. The valve body establishes the communication between one auxiliary communication hole and one auxiliary opening portion regardless of a rotational position of the valve body. In addition, the valve body changes a communication state between the main communication hole and the main opening portion and a communication state between another auxiliary communication hole and another auxiliary opening portion according to the rotational position of the valve body.

Flow rate control valve and cooling system

Provided is a flow control valve and a cooling system, with which a pressure loss can be reduced. A rotorincludes a first guide portionon the outer circumferential side of an extending portionfixed to a drive shaftand protruding into a space inside the rotor. The first guide portionhas a radial outer shape which increases from an x-axis positive direction side toward an x-axis negative direction side.

Flow control valve and cooling system

Provided is a flow control valve which improves a mounting efficiency. An MCVincludes a housing including a valve-element housing portion, a first communicating aperture which introduces cooling water, which is flown out of a first water channel formed in an engine, to a valve-element housing portion, and a second communicating aperture which discharges the cooling water in the valve-element housing portion to a second water channel formed in the engine; a rotor accommodated in the valve-element housing portion and configured to change a flow rate of the cooling water discharged to the second water channel, according to a rotation angle of the rotor; and a drive mechanism configured to control the rotation angle of the rotor. The first and second communicating apertures open in an engine-side mounting surface of the housing.

Flow control valve

Flow rate control valve CV has first housinghaving introduction openingopening in axial direction of hollow valve body accommodating portionand introducing cooling water and first to third exhaust ports E-E, each of which is formed so as to have opening cross section that is smaller than that of introduction opening, radially communicates with valve body accommodating portionand exhausts cooling water in valve body accommodating portion; and valve bodyrotatably supported in valve body accommodating portionand having opening portions M-Mwhose overlap state with exhaust ports E-Eis changed according to rotation position of valve body. Opening cross section between introduction openingand third opening portion M(exhaust port E) is reduced in axial direction of valve body accommodating portion, thereby suppressing rapid reduction of flow passage sectional area and decreasing flow resistance of cooling water.
