The present disclosure provides systems and methods for client-side anonymized content selections. The method includes collecting a plurality of identifications of content selection lists, each content selection list associated with the first device and at least one other device. The method includes selecting a first subset of the content selection lists, responsive to a total number of unique device associated with a plurality of content selection lists of the first subset exceeding a threshold. The method includes transmitting a request for an item of content, the request comprising identifications of the content selection lists of the selected first subset. The method includes receiving a first item of content selected by the content server based on the content selection lists of the selected first subset.

Systems and methods for preserving device privacy

A server automatically generates a response on behalf of second users to a request received from a first user. A first stage of matching is performed that includes determining which of the second users match a requested location and request type. A second stage of matching is performed for each second user that includes computing a value that quantifies a likelihood of the first user selecting that second user to fulfill the request, and determining a capacity of the second user to fulfill the request. Some of the second users are selected based at least in part on the computed value and the determined capacity of each of the second users. A response is automatically generating for each of the selected second users. The generated responses are transmitted to the first user.

Matching a request from a user to a set of different users for responding to the request

A server computer receives configuration data from a first user of a first user device and establishes an interaction limit for the first user based on the configuration data. The server computer subsequently receives a request message from a second user device of a second user that includes parameters, including a request for services. The server computer selects the first user from a plurality of users based on the parameters and the configuration data from the first user. The server computer transmits a quote message to the second user device indicating the selection of the first user and including a quote. When the server computer receives an indication of a response message from the second user device, the server computer processes the response message and determines if the response message is indicative of an interaction type that requires modifying a first user account associated with the first user.

A server computer receives an indication of an interaction between a first user device of a first user and a second user device of a second user, where the interaction includes a message for transmission from the first user to the second user. The server computer performs a verification process on the message, including performing one or more binary checks on the message. The server computer then generates a response indicating whether the message is a legitimate message based on the verification process. When the response indicates that the message is a legitimate message, the server computer transmits the message to the second user device of the second user for display.

One or more embodiments may include a method that may include displaying to a user a page containing a link, receiving a first user input that indicates the link should be saved for potential later processing and saving the link to a local repository so that the link can be processed later. The saving may occur while the page continues to be displayed. The saving may occur without processing the link to perform the associated action. The method may include displaying a list (e.g., including the link) of one or more links saved in the repository, for example, in response to an event that indicates that the user may be interested in viewing links in the link repository.

A method for enabling a user of a computing device to designate a content item for subsequent review is provided. The computing device is coupled to a memory device and a display. The method is implemented using the computing device. The method includes displaying, by the computing device, a first publication. The method further includes the steps of displaying, by the computing device, a content item at a first time, wherein the content item is displayed in conjunction with the first publication. The method further includes receiving, by the computing device, a first input from the user to designate the content item for subsequent review, generating an indicator that the content item has been designated for subsequent review, causing the memory device to store the indicator, determining a second time to display the content item, and displaying the content item at the second time.

Apparatus and method for identifying similar publisher display items for potential placement of content items therein. In accordance with some embodiments, a population of publisher display items is provided each adapted to be respectively displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI) of a network accessible device. The display items are sorted into sets of similar display items responsive to user interactions with said display items so that, for each display item in the population, a number of similar display items is associated therewith. A content item is received for potential display in conjunction with the display of a first selected display item in the population of display items. The content item is thereafter displayed in one of the other display items of the set of similar display items associated with the first selected display item.

Directed content presentation

A virtual content server and method are provided for virtual content providers to provide multiple items of their virtual to users as part of an ordered virtual content campaign. A provider may define the order for the presentation of the content items, such as a linear sequence or based on a particular logic, e.g., a state transition graph or matrix, and such order information is stored in a campaign database. The server stores information regarding the state of the campaign for a particular user, e.g., how many or which ones of the content items of the ordered campaign have been presented to the user. Additionally, the provider may define certain performable actions with respect to particular states or content items. Actions performed by the user may be detected, and the server may store information regarding performed actions in association with the user id. In this manner, the next virtual content item in the ordered campaign to serve to the user in response to a virtual content request may be decided based on the current state of the campaign and/or the actions performed with respect to the campaign.
