A display device is provided, including: a display panel; a backlight module; a circuit board, arranged on a side of the backlight module facing away from the display panel; a flexible circuit board, connected to the circuit board and the display panel, where the flexible circuit board includes a bending portion arranged on a side of the backlight module and extending from the display panel to the circuit board; a circuit board protective frame, arranged around the circuit board and the flexible circuit board, where an opening is provided on a first portion of the circuit board protective frame, and the first portion is a portion of the circuit board protective frame facing the bending portion; and a buffer structure, fixed on the circuit board protective frame, arranged parallel to the circuit board protective frame, and covering the opening.

The chip on film includes a body and an insulating protective film arranged on the body, in which the body includes a first area, a first binding area for binding and connecting to the back surface of the display panel, and a first bendable area located between the first area and the first binding area and capable of being bent in a first direction; and the insulating protection film includes a first connection area connected to the first area, a second connection area for connecting to the back surface of the display panel, and a second bendable area located between the first connection area and the second connection area and capable of being bent in a second direction opposite to the first direction.

Chip on film and display device

A diffuser and an Indication panel are provided. The diffuser includes: a plurality of light-transmitting regions; and a light-shielding region located between adjacent ones of the plurality of light-transmitting regions, and each of the light-transmitting regions corresponds to an icon symbol on the indication panel. The diffuser is employed to avoid a phenomenon of light leakage between adjacent icon symbols, thereby improving the display effect of the indication panel.

Light guide plate and manufacturing method thereof, backlight module and display device

A light guide plate includes a body region and a light incident region. The body region has a light exiting surface, an opposite base surface, and a side surface between the light exiting surface and the base surface. The light incident region is located at the side surface of the body region for receiving incident light and includes projections protruding outwards from the side surface of the body region, and a cavity is defined between adjacent projections. Each projection has a top surface and outer side walls. The outer side walls also define inner side walls of each cavity together with a bottom surface. The top surface, side walls, and bottom surface together are a light incident surface of the light incident region. An angle between the top surface and each outer side wall is called an apex angle, which is greater than 90 degrees.

The backlight module includes: a light guide plate, a plastic frame and a back plate; the back plate includes an accommodating portion and a folded edge perpendicular to the accommodating portion; the light guide plate is disposed on the accommodating portion; the plastic frame is configured to be in a snap engagement with the folded edge of the back plate and includes an outer blocking wall and a carrying portion perpendicular to the outer blocking wall; and a blocking member is disposed between the folded edge and the light guide plate, and the blocking member is configured to block light leakage at a position where the outer blocking wall and the folded edge are snap engaged.
