A novel power slide with a motor directly connected to a lead screw includes a left slide and a right slide each including a top rail, a bottom rail, a power motor, a lead screw, a threaded assembly and a retainer ring. A first slot and a second slot are formed in two ends of the top rail, respectively. The power motor is fixed to a lower surface of the top rail through a motor bracket. The lead screw has an end connected to the power motor and another end rotatably fixed to the lower surface of the top rail. A bottom portion of the threaded assembly is fixedly connected to an upper surface of the bottom rail, and the lead screw horizontally penetrates through the threaded assembly and is in threaded fit with the threaded assembly. The retainer ring is located in the first slot, and a gap is formed between the retainer ring and the first slot.

Power slide with motor directly connected to lead screw

A power slide includes a left slide and a right slide, each including a top rail, a bottom rail, a lead screw and an electric motor. The top rail is arranged above the bottom rail and is slidably connected to the bottom rail, and a notch is formed in a middle portion of the top rail. The lead screw is arranged above the bottom rail in parallel and has two ends fixedly connected to the bottom rail. The electric motor includes a housing, a rotor shaft and a stator shaft. The housing is mounted in the notch, the stator shaft is fixedly connected into the housing, the rotor shaft penetrates into the stator shaft and is rotatably connected to the stator shaft, and an interior of the rotor shaft is threadedly connected to the lead screw.

Power slide

A vehicle seat longitudinal adjuster () includes two guide rail pairs (P, P) with a first guide rail () and a second guide rail () movable with respect to the first guide rail, a motor unit (), a gear unit (G) with a gear rotary shaft () connected to the first guide rail and a rotatable gear element (). A transmission unit () is coupled with the gear unit and the motor unit to transmit torque to the gear rotary shaft. A gearbox () receives the gear unit. A support () receives the gearbox inside a gap (BR) formed between the guide rails and passes through a second rail opening () and extends out of the guide rail opening and closes the second rail opening.
