Disclosed are a method for fabricating an inductor with a vertical winding and an injection molding tooling thereof. The fabrication method includes: providing a conductive member that includes a connection piece, which includes a first surface and a second surface that are oppositely arranged, and a pillar on the first surface; injecting the magnetic material onto a side of the conductive member with the pillar, such that the magnetic material and the conductive member form an integrated structure; and cutting the connection piece to form the vertical winding. The injection molding tooling includes: an upper punch for stamping a magnetic material and a conductive member into an integrated structure, a molding cavity body surrounding a periphery of a pillar of the conductive member, and a lower punch for bearing a connection piece of the conductive member.

Fabrication method for an inductor with a vertical vinding and injection molding tooling thereof

A power module and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The power module includes a first board, a magnetic component, a second board and a power device. The first board includes a conductive component disposed between a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The magnetic component is disposed between the first side and the second side and includes a magnetic core and a winding. A first conductive terminal and a second conductive terminal are led out on the first side and the second side, respectively. The second board is disposed on the first board and includes a third side and a fourth side opposite to each other. The fourth side faces the first side. The power device is disposed on the third side of the second board and electrically connected to the first board.

Power module and manufacturing method thereof

A power module, including: a first conductor, disposed at a first reference plane; a second conductor, disposed at a second reference plane, wherein projections of the first and second conductors on the first reference plane have a first overlap area; a third conductor, disposed at a third reference plane; a plurality of first switches and a plurality of second switches, wherein at least one of the first switches and at least one of the second switches that are located on a left side are alternatively disposed, at least one of the first switches and at least one of the second switches that are located on a right side are alternately disposed, and the left side and the right side of the first overlap area are oppositely disposed. Heat sources of the power module are evenly distributed and its parasitic inductance is low.

Power module

The present disclosure relates to a component structure, a power module and a power module assembly structure having the component structure. The component structure comprises: a first bus bar, having one end extending to a first plane to form a first connecting terminal; a second bus bar, comprising a front portion of the second bus bar and a rear portion of the second bus bar, wherein the front portion of the second bus bar is laminated in parallel with the first bus bar, and the rear portion of the second bus bar is extended to a second plane to form a second connecting terminal; and an external circuit comprising a third bus bar, wherein the third bus bar is settled in parallel with the rear portion of the second bus bar, to reduce a parasitic inductance between the first connecting terminal and the second connecting terminal.

A method for manufacturing a stack structure comprises: providing a lead frame having a metal frame, at least two metal plate portions and a plurality of connection ribs, the connection ribs each comprises a first end, a second end and a connection portion; directly mounting electronic components for constructing two modules on the metal plate portions; packaging the electronic components of the first module, the first ends of the metal connection components which are electrically connected to the first module and the first ends of the part of the connection ribs which are electrically connected to the first module are packaged therein; removing the metal frame and part or whole of the connection ribs, the remaining connection ribs forms pins; and bending the metal connection component so that the two modules connected by the metal connection components are stacked one upon the other, to form the stack structure.

Method for manufacturing a stack structure

A power module structure includes a first metal layer, a second metal layer, a third metal layer and a fourth metal layer, wherein the fourth metal layer is connected to the second metal layer via a connecting bridge; at least one first switch including a first end connected to the third metal layer and a second end connected to the second metal layer; and at least one second switch including a third end connected to the fourth metal layer and a fourth end connected to the first metal layer; wherein the projection of the first metal layer and the projection of the third metal layer are overlapped to form a first overlapping area; wherein the direction of the current flowing through the first metal layer is opposite to the direction of the current flowing through the third metal layer.

Power module structure

A carrier board and a power module using the same are disclosed. The carrier board includes a main body, two metal-wiring layers and at least one metal block. The main body includes at least two terminals and a surface. The two terminals are disposed on the surface. The two metal-wiring layers are disposed on the main body to form two parts of metal traces connected to the two terminals, respectively. The at least one metal block is embedded in the main body and connected to one of the two terminals. A thickness of the two parts of metal traces is less than that of the metal block. The two terminals connected by the two parts of metal traces have a loop inductance less than or equal to 1.4 nH calculated at a frequency greater than 1 MHz.

Carrier board and power module using same

A power module, including: a first conductor, disposed at a first reference plane; a second conductor, disposed at a second reference plane, wherein projections of the first and second conductors on the first reference plane have a first overlap area; a third conductor, disposed at a third reference plane; a plurality of first switches, first ends of which are coupled to the first conductor; and a plurality of second switches, first ends of which are coupled to second ends of the first switches through the third conductor, and second ends of the second switches are coupled to the second conductor, wherein projections of minimum envelope areas of the first and second switches on the first reference plane have a second overlap area, and the first and second overlap areas have an overlap region. The present disclosure provides a power supply module. The power supply module is applied to an integrated circuit chip assembly which includes a first carrier board and an integrated circuit chip located at a first side of the first carrier board; the power supply module includes: a second carrier board; a first-stage power supply unit; and a second-stage power supply unit, power input terminals of the second-stage power supply unit are electrically connected with corresponding power output terminals of the first-stage power supply unit through the second carrier board; power output terminals of the second-stage power supply unit are electrically connected with corresponding power terminals of the integrated circuit chip, a projection of the second-stage power supply unit on a first plane is at least partially located within a projection range of the integrated circuit chip on the first plane, the first plane is parallel to the first carrier board.

The present disclosure provides a power supply module and a manufacture method thereof, belonging to the technical field of power electronics. According to the present disclosure, a unibody conductive member is employed to connect a conductive part in a passive element to a conductive layer in a substrate. This is advantageous in simplifying the structure of the passive element, and enabling a structurally compact power supply module at a reduced cost. Additionally, stacking the passive element with the substrate may allow for a further compact structure for the power supply module, improving the space utilization rate for the power supply module, while enhancing the external appearance of the power supply module with tidiness, simplicity and aesthetics.

A multi-chip package power module according to the present disclosure, comprising: multiple chips, including a first chip and a second chip that are arranged adjacently; a first conductive member, at least partially arranged between the first chip and the second chip, and a second conductive member, at least partially arranged between the first chip and the second chip, where the first conductive member is electrically connected to a power pin of the first chip, the second conductive member is electrically connected to a power pin of the second chip, and the multiple chips, the first conductive member and the second conductive member are all embedded in an insulating package material. For the multi-chip package power module according to the present disclosure, the power output current of the chip can be directly led out from two opposite sides through the conductive member to obtain a symmetrical path.

There is provided a magnetic core component and the gap control method thereof. The magnetic core component includes a first magnetic component, a second magnetic component and a first gap control structure disposed therebetween. The first gap control structure includes thixotropic material and is applied on the first magnetic component and is cured, the second magnetic component is disposed on the cured first gap control structure, and a gap between the first magnetic component and the second magnetic component is controlled by an effective height of the first gap control structure. The gap control structure has minimum variability after it is cured, and its effective height can be always kept at a required gap height.
