A preparation method for a high nickel ternary precursor capable of preferential growth of crystal planes by adjusting and controlling the addition amount of seed crystals. The method comprises the following steps: 1) feeding a ternary metal solution into a reaction kettle containing a first base liquid for reaction, and when the particle size reaches 1.5 to 3.0 μm, stopping the feeding, so as to obtain a seed crystal slurry; 2) simultaneously adding the ternary metal solution, a liquid alkali solution, and an ammonia solution in cocurrent flow into a growth kettle containing a second base solution for reaction, when the particle size reaches 6 to 8 μm, adding the seed crystal slurry into the reaction system, and controlling the particle size to be 9.0 to 11.0 μm by adjusting the feed rate of the seed crystal, so as to obtain the target object. In the preparation method, by adding seed crystals continuously, the crystal plane parameters of 001 peak in the prepared ternary precursor material is lower than the crystal plane parameters of 101 peak, facilitating the embedding of Li ions, and effectively improving the performance of a battery prepared by using the material.

The present invention provides a method of preparing an MOF-coated monocrystal ternary positive electrode material. Firstly, a solution A of nickel, cobalt and manganese metal salts, an ammonia complexing agent solution and a caustic soda liquid are added to a reactor for reaction to obtain a precursor core; then, an organic carboxylate is dissolved in an amount of an organic solvent to obtain a solution B; the solution B and a manganese metal salt solution with a given concentration are added to the reactor and aged to obtain an MOF-coated core-shell structure precursor; the core-shell structure precursor is pre-sintered at a low temperature to obtain a nickel-cobalt-manganese oxide with monocrystal structure; the nickel-cobalt-manganese oxide with monocrystal structure is uniformly mixed with LiOH&#xb7;HO in a mortar and then calcined at a high temperature to obtain an MOF-coated monocrystal ternary positive electrode material.

Provided are a battery-level Ni&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Mn mixed solution and a preparation method for a battery-level Mn solution, the steps thereof comprising: acid dissolution (S), alkalization to remove impurities (S), synchronous precipitation of calcium, magnesium, and lithium (S), deep ageing to remove impurities (S), synergistic extraction (S), and refining extraction (S). The steps of deep ageing to remove impurities (S) and synergistic extraction (S) comprise: performing deep ageing on a filtrate obtained from the step of synchronous precipitation of calcium, magnesium, and lithium (S), and after performing filtration to remove impurities, obtaining an aged filtrate; using P204 to extract the aged filtrate and obtain a loaded organic phase, and subjecting the loaded organic phase to staged back-extraction to obtain the battery-level Ni&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Mn mixed solution and a Mn-containing solution. By means of the cooperation between the multiple process steps of synchronous precipitation of calcium, magnesium, and lithium (S), deep ageing to remove impurities (S), and synergistic extraction (S), the impurity content of the obtained battery-level Ni&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Mn mixed solution is significantly lowered, and the battery-level Ni&#x2014;Co&#x2014;Mn mixed solution can be directly used to prepare a lithium battery ternary precursor material. At the same time, the battery-level Mn solution can also be obtained, which is favorable for large-scale applications of the process and increasing economic benefits.
