A moving body drive control device characterized by mutually balancing a magnitude of driving force TK and a magnitude of braking force TB, both of the forces being generated by a motor, to approximate a moving speed of a moving bodyto a target speed highly precisely without being affected by a disturbance and the like in a state where the drive control device always applies at least any force of the driving force TK and the braking force TB to the moving bodyto always apply a driving load thereto.

An automatic opening/closing device of a vehicular opening/closing body, which gradually increases a duty until a rotary pulse cycle is definitely decided at a stage before a jamming determining time comes, thus making it possible to move a backdoor even if a resistance due to self-weight of the backdoor is generated and to prevent a malfunction in which the backdoor is halted or an operation thereof is inverted even under a state where the backdoor does not jam any foreign object.

An automatic door operating device drives a door for a pivotal movement in accordance with a switch operation. The automatic door operating device includes a handle disposed on the door; and a controller. The controller allows the door to be manually operable for the pivotal movement when the handle is operated during a time the door is in a process of being driven for the pivotal movement.

An operating device for operating an automotive pivotal door has the following elements, which are an electric motor of reversible type; a speed reduction device driven by the motor and having an output part formed into an output gear; a rack member having a toothed side edge meshed with the output gear, so that upon energization of the motor, the rack member is moved axially; a motion transmitting member having one end pivotally connected to one end of the rack member and the other end connected to the pivotal door; and a structure which permits a swing movement of the rack member about an axis of the output gear when an external force is applied to the rack member in a direction to swing the same during the axial movement of the rack member. For appropriately controlling the operating device, a computer-aided control unit is employed.
