Various embodiments provide a battery and a method for manufacturing the battery, an apparatus of manufacturing the battery and an electricity-consuming device. In some embodiments, the battery includes a battery cell; a case assembly configured to accommodate the battery cell and including a first portion, in which the first portion is arranged at least one side of the battery cell in a first direction; and a first bonding member, in which at least part of the first bonding member is filled between the first portion and the battery cell and bonds the first portion and the battery cell. A first gap is formed between the first portion and the battery cell, and the first gap is configured to release an expansion stress when the battery cell expands. The solutions provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the energy density and safety of the battery, and prolong the service life of the battery.

This application provides a battery cell, a battery, and an electric apparatus. The battery cell includes: an electrode assembly, including a body portion and a first tab. A first size Lof the body portion in a length direction thereof is greater than a second size Lof the body portion in a width direction thereof. The first tab is located on at least one end of the body portion in the width direction. The first tab has a third size Lin the length direction. The first size L, the second size L, and the third size Lsatisfy 0.5L≤L≤L. The battery cell according to an embodiment of this application is intended to resolve a technical problem of severe heat generation by a tab.

The present disclosure relates to a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery includes a case including a receiving space with an opening; a cap assembly connected to the case and close the opening; an electrode assembly disposed in the receiving space and including two end faces opposite to each other in a first direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the receiving space, and tabs extending from the end faces and two or more electrode units stacked in the axial direction; and a current collecting unit, including a first piece extending in the axial direction and a first current collecting piece connected to the first piece, the tab extends in the first direction and is connected to the first current collecting piece, and a portion of the tab connected to the first current collecting piece and the first current collecting piece are stacked in the axial direction.

Secondary battery and battery module

The present application relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate comprises a current collector, a positive active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the positive active material layer, the safety coating comprising a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler, wherein the polymer matrix is fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin and the weight ratio of the polymer matrix to the conductive material is 2 or more. The positive electrode plate may improve the safety performance during nail penetration of the electrochemical device such as a capacitor, a primary battery or a secondary battery.

The present disclosure provides a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case and a cap assembly. The case has an accommodating cavity, and the electrode assembly is accommodated in the accommodating cavity. The electrode assembly comprises electrode units stacked in an axial direction of the accommodating cavity. The cap assembly comprises a cap plate and a vent piece, the cap plate is connected with the case and positioned at a side of the electrode assembly in the axial direction. The cap plate is provided with a through-hole, and the vent piece covers the through-hole. The cap plate has a first inner surface, the vent piece has a second inner surface, and a distance between the first inner surface and the electrode assembly is larger than a distance between the second inner surface and the electrode assembly.

The battery cell assembly includes: at least two battery cells and an insulation film. The at least two battery cells are stacked. Each battery cell includes an electrode assembly and a battery housing. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the battery housing. The present disclosure provides a battery pack, including: a battery box, a plurality of battery modules, a cooling plate, and a buffering member. Each battery module includes a plurality of battery cells and a plurality of busbars. Each battery cell includes an electrode assembly and a battery housing. The battery cells are laid flat. When the electrode assembly is of a wound structure and is flat, and outer surfaces of the electrode assembly include two flat surfaces. The two flat surfaces are opposite to each other in a vertical direction. Alternatively, when the electrode assembly is of a laminated structure, a first electrode plate, a separator, and a second electrode plate are stacked in a vertical direction. Therefore, the electrode assembly of the battery cells applies a greatest expansion force in the vertical direction during charge and discharge.

Battery pack

The present invention relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate comprises a current collector, a positive active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the positive active material layer, wherein the safety coating comprises a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler, wherein the polymer matrix comprises at least two types of polymer materials, and the first type of polymer material is fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin, and the solubility of the second type of polymer material in oil solvent is smaller than the solubility of the first type of polymer material; and the weight percentage of the first type of polymer material relative to the total weight of the polymer matrix, the conductive material and the inorganic filler is 17.5% or more. The positive electrode plate improves high temperature safety of electrochemical device.

Disclosed are a secondary battery, a battery module and an electric vehicle. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a housing and a top cover assembly. The housing has an accommodating chamber, the accommodating chamber having an opening, and the electrode assembly being accommodated in the accommodating chamber. The electrode assembly includes a plurality of electrode units, the plurality of electrode units being stacked in an axial direction of the accommodating chamber. The top cover assembly includes a top cover plate, a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal, the top cover plate being connected to the housing and located on a side of the electrode assembly in the axial direction, and the first electrode terminal and the second electrode terminal both protruding from the top cover plate and being electrically connected to the electrode assembly.

This application relates to a battery comprising a positive electrode plate, a separator, and a negative electrode plate, wherein the positive electrode plate comprises a positive electrode current collector and at least two layers of positive active material coated on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and wherein an underlying positive active material layer in contact with the positive electrode current collector comprises a first positive active material, a first polymer material and a first conductive material; and wherein an upper positive active material layer in contact with the underlying positive active material layer and away from the positive electrode current collector comprises a second positive active material, a second polymer material and a second conductive material, and the first polymer material comprises fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin polymer material. The battery has good safety and improved electrical properties.

Battery

The present disclosure provides a secondary battery, a battery module and a vehicle. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case and a cap assembly. The case has an accommodating cavity, and the electrode assembly is accommodated in the accommodating cavity. The electrode assembly includes electrode units, and the electrode units are stacked in an axial direction of the accommodating cavity. The cap assembly includes a cap plate and an insulating member provided at an inner side of the cap plate, the cap plate is connected with the case, and the insulating member is positioned at a side of the electrode assembly in the axial direction. The insulating member is provided with a first surface at a side close to the electrode assembly, and the first surface is a flat surface.
