A plug connector used to mate with the socket connector includes: a housing; a printed circuit board received in the housing, the circuit print board having plural soldering points; and a cable electrically connected to the soldering points of the printed circuit board, wherein the soldering points are provided with glue blocks to protect a connection between the printed circuit board and the cable.

A plug connector includes: an insulative housing including a main body, a reinforcement projecting forward from the main body, and a pair of baffle plates; and a printed circuit board partially received in the insulative housing, the printed circuit board extending forward from the main body and beyond the reinforcement, the reinforcement wrapping on the printed circuit board, wherein a width of a front end of the printed circuit board exposed outside the main body in a horizontal direction is greater than a width of the reinforcement, and a limiting groove is formed between the baffle plate and the printed circuit board for guiding the plug connector to mate with a socket connector.

An electrical connector includes: a connector unit having a mating part, the mating part defining a front mating end; a sleeve enclosing the mating part and extending forwardly beyond the front mating end to define a receiving chamber; and an outer cover enclosing the sleeve and the connector unit, wherein the sleeve has a front portion containing the receiving chamber, and the outer cover is made of a material softer than the sleeve.

A cable connector assembly includes: an insulative base (); plural contacts secured to the insulative base, each contact having a contacting portion, a terminating portion, and a securing portion between the contacting portion and the terminating portion; a cable including plural wires connected to the contacts, each wire having a center conductor; and an outer shell enclosing the insulative base and a part of the cable; wherein the contact terminating portion has a groove () receiving the cable wire center conductor; and the cable wire center conductor extends to terminate perpendicularly to an associated contact. Plural interconnecting pieces each secured to an associated cable wire center conductor are also designed to replace direct connection of the cable wires to the contacts.

A power cable connector assembly includes: an electrical connector including an insulative housing, a number of contacts retained in the insulative housing, and an outer case enclosing the insulative housing; a cable electrically connecting with the electrical connector, the cable including a number of core wires connected with corresponding contacts and a number of control wires; and a sensor enclosed by the outer case, the sensor including a number of conductive wires connected with corresponding control wires and a mounting portion, the mounting portion having a through hole for fixing the sensor to the insulative housing.
