A method for timestamping and synchronization with high-accuracy timestamps in low-power sensor systems is provided. The method is performed by a device and includes: receiving, by a sensor hub of the device, an interrupt signal from a sensor and performing an interrupt service routine (ISR) to obtain an interrupt timestamp obtained by a latch, wherein the interrupt timestamp is obtained from an always-running unified time reference; obtaining, by the sensor hub, sensor data from the sensor; predicting, by the sensor hub, a prediction timestamp based on an amount of sensor data and the interrupt timestamp by using a filtering algorithm; and correcting, by the sensor hub, a timestamp of each sensor data based on the prediction timestamp.

Method and device for timestamping and synchronization with high-accuracy timestamps in low-power sensor systems

A method for processing instant application messages is provided. The method is performed by a device and includes: receiving, by a modem of the device, an instant application message transmitted from an application server to an application processor of the device; determining, by the modem, whether the application processor is in a sleeping mode and the instant application message is an emergency message; and transmitting, by the modem, the instant application message to a co-processor of the device to cache the instant application message when the application processor is in the sleeping mode and the instant application message is not an emergency message.

Method and device for processing instant application messages

Examples pertaining to improvement on user equipment (UE) uplink latency in wireless communications are described. When an apparatus is in a special mode, a processor of the apparatus transmits to a network a request for permission to perform an uplink (UL) transmission for a plurality of times. The processor then receives from the network a grant. In response to receiving the grant, the processor performs the UL transmission to the network. In transmitting the request for the plurality of times, the processor transmits the request for the plurality of times at a frequency higher than a frequency at which the request to perform UL transmissions is transmitted to the network when the apparatus is in a normal operational mode.
