A shielding device for surrounding and shielding an electronic element therein on a circuit board, comprising a unitary metallic frame for mounting on the circuit board defining a receiving space confronted with the circuit board; and a unitary metallic cover assembled with the frame so as to provide a complete shielding performance with the frame; wherein the cover pivots on the frame and moves between an opened state where the cover rotates away from the frame and a closed state where the cover is wholly covering on the frame.

Detachable shielding device

A card edge connector includes an elongated insulative housing, a number of contacts retained in the insulative housing, and an ejector received in the insulating housing for locking with a memory card. The insulative housing includes a passageway and at least one tower portion extending upwardly from an end thereof. The tower portion has a two opposite side walls, and a middle wall located between two side walls. The ejector has a base portion defining a lower ejecting section, a locking portion defining a locking section, and a narrowed reinforcing portion formed between the base portion and the locking portion. The narrowed reinforcing portion being thinner than the base portion and the locking portion, and the middle wall has a narrowed slot communicating with the elongated passageway to permit the narrowed reinforcing portion to rotate inward to lower a height of the card edge connector.

Card edge connector having improved ejector

A card edge connector includes a first insulating housing loaded with a plurality of first terminals, a second insulating housing loaded with a plurality of second terminals. A card receiving slot is defined between the first insulating housing and the second insulating housing with a key disposed in the card receiving slot. The first terminals and the second terminals are disposed at two opposite sides of the card receiving slot and comprising contacting portions extending in the card receiving slot. The first insulating housing defines a pair of locking arms at opposite ends thereof and extending towards the second insulating housing, the second insulating housing defines a pair of locking recesses, the locking arms are locking with the locking recesses thereby the first and second insulating housing are snugly attached together.

Well co-plane card edge connector

A card edge connector for being retained into a notch of a print circuit board includes an insulative housing defining a central slot extending along a longitudinal direction, a first wall and a second wall located on the opposite sides of the central slot and a fitting portion extending downwardly into the notch from a bottom portion of the first wall, the fitting portion defining a plurality of first terminal slots and the second wall defining a plurality of second terminal slots. A plurality of first terminals are received in the first terminal slots, and a plurality of second terminals are received in the second terminal slots. Each first terminal defines a first retaining portion received in the first terminal slot and a first soldering portion extending out of the housing forwardly, each second terminal defines a second soldering portion rearwardly extending out of the housing.

Lower profile card edge connector

A card edge connector () for receiving a module () includes an elongated insulative housing () having a central slot () for receiving a bottom edge of the module and an arm portion () coupled to an end of the insulative housing. The arm portion includes a pair of side walls () with a retaining slot () formed therebetween for receiving a side edge of the module and a latch () located between the side walls and integrally extending upwardly from the insulative housing. The latch has a resilient arm () defining a retaining embossment () for latching the module and a gripping portion () for rotating the resilient arm. A number of terminals () are mounted on the insulative housing and extend into the central slot for electrical connection to the module.

Lower profile card edge connector for single sided SO-DIMM module and assembly of the same

A card edge connector is used for connecting an electronic card to a printed circuit board and includes an insulative housing and a plurality of conductive terminals retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a front face, a mounting surface and a receiving slot running through the front face and extending along a longitudinal direction with a key disposed therein. Each conductive terminals defines a contacting arm extending into the receiving slot along a mating direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and a soldering portion extending outside of the insulative housing. Each contacting arm defines a free end portion located in the receiving slot and with a contacting portion disposed thereon, the thickness of the free end portion in a vertical direction perpendicular to both the longitudinal direction and the mating direction is smaller than the thickness of other parts of the contacting arm.

A card edge connector includes an insulative housing, first terminals and a terminal module embedded with second terminals. The housing defines a front face and a rear face, and a card receiving slot recessed from the front face to divided the housing to a first side wall and a second side wall. The first terminals are inserted in the first side wall from the rear face, the first terminals include retaining portions fixed in the first side wall, contacting portions protruding into the card receiving slot and board connecting portions. The second terminals include retained portions embedded in the terminal module, contacting portions and board connecting portions. The terminal module is assembled to the front face of the housing, the contacting portions of the second terminals are arranged along the second side wall and project in the card receiving slot.

Miniaturized card edge connector with assembled terminal module

A card edge connector includes an insulative housing defining a central slot extending forwardly, a first wall and a second wall located on the opposite sides of the central slot and a rear wall connecting the first and second walls. The first wall defines an inner surface, a mounting surface opposite to the inner surface and a plurality of first terminal slots running through the inner surface and the mounting surface, the second wall defines a plurality of second terminal slots. A plurality of first terminals are received in the first terminal slots and includes first retaining portions retained in the first terminal slots. A plurality of second terminals are received in the second terminal slots. The mounting surface defines a recess close to the first retaining portions, a longitudinal plastic sheet is received in recess and melted to fix the first retaining portions to the first wall.

A card edge connector assembly comprising a first card edge connector comprising a first insulative housing, a pair of first latching arms disposed on opposite ends of the first insulative housing and a plurality of first conductive terminals retained in the first insulative housing; a second card edge connector including a second insulative housing, a pair of second latching arms located on the opposite ends of the second insulative housing and a plurality of second conductive terminals retained in the second insulative housing. The first and second terminals define pin-shaped solder portions respectively, wherein the first and second insulative housings define protruding portions and recessed portions mutually engaged with each other when the first and second insulative housings are disposed in a head to head arrangement. It can shorten distance between the first and second card edge connectors, which is conducive to miniaturization of connector assembly.

Card edge connector assembly and positioning method of the same

A card edge connector for receiving a card which is rotatably assembled includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals and a pair of metal pieces. The insulative housing has a inserted slot for receiving the card and a key within the inserted slot for anti-mismating of the card. The terminals are arranged in a single row and located at one side of the inserted slot. Each terminal includes a solder portion extending out of the insulative housing and a contacting portion projecting into the inserted slot. The metal pieces locate at the other side of the inserted slot, each of which includes a mounting portion and an abutting portion projecting into the inserted slot. The terminals are arranged in a single row for reducing the height of the card edge connector.

An imaging system uses optical modules to capture images of a subject. The optical modules are fixed on a bearing plate of the imaging system by a fastening element of the imaging system. The fastening element is removable and fixed on the support plate. Each of the optical modules has an optical surface. The fastening element has a bevel attached to all the optical surfaces of the optical modules so that all the optical surfaces are coplanar.
