The holding-sheath has a sleeve portion that extends around the electronic device, and a holding portion graspable by a user to enable the user to more comfortably hold the device and facilitate its operation. The holding-sheath further has a protection portion extending therefrom so as to protect at least a button, switch, or connecting portion of the device from being contaminated.
