Disclosed are various examples of providing edge component redirection for IoT analytics groups. In some embodiments, an Internet-of-Things (IoT) analytics group is identified. The IoT analytics group includes an IoT device that communicates through an interface device of a first edge device. A grouping interface policy is generated to specify a bus redirect from the first edge computing device to a second edge computing device. The grouping interface policy is transmitted for implementation using the edge devices.

Edge component redirect for IoT analytics groups

Disclosed are various examples of providing edge component redirection for IoT analytics groups. In some embodiments, a grouping interface policy is received for an Internet-of-Things (IoT) device that communicates through an interface device of a first edge computing device. The grouping interface policy indicates that the IoT device is assigned to a second edge computing device. A bus redirect of the interface device is enabled. The bus redirect routes traffic between the IoT device and the second edge computing device.

A method to intercept an universal serial bus (USB) related request and to respond the intercepted request in a virtualized environment includes connecting a virtual USB peripheral controller in a virtualization software in the virtualized environment to a virtual machine in the virtualized environment. An USB data access request generated by the virtual machine may be intercept by the virtual USB peripheral controller so that the USB data access request does not reach a kernel space of the virtualization software and physical hardware resources supporting the virtualized environment. The method further includes generating a response according to the USB data access request and a process called by a firmware framework module of the virtual USB peripheral controller and transmitting generated response towards the virtual machine.

This invention concerns particulate reinforced Al-based composites, and the near net shape forming process of their components. The average size of the reinforced particle in the invented composites is 0.1&#x2013;3.5 &#x3bc;m and the volume percentage is 10&#x2013;40%, and a good interfacial bonding between the reinforced particulate and the matrix is formed with the reinforced particles uniformly distributed. The production method of its billet is to have the reinforced particles and Al-base alloy powder receive variable-speed high-energy ball-milling in the balling drum. After the ball-milling, the produced composite powder undergoes cold isostatic pressing and the subsequent vacuum sintering or vacuum hot-pressing to be shaped into a hot compressed billet, which in turn undergoes semisolid thixotropic forming and may be shaped into complex-shaped components. These components can be used in various fields. This product is featured with excellent property, good machinability, stable quality, component near net shape forming and cost effective and higher performance.
