There is provided a method at a second user equipment (UE2) comprising receiving, from a first UE (UE1), a relay request message indicating a relay request of UE1. The relay request is for a relay service requested by UE1. The relay request message comprises an indication of a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) to which UE1 is subscribed. The method comprises determining that the relay request can be accepted by UE2 in at least one case where: the UE2 is authorized to support the relay service; the relay service is allowed by a current cell of UE2 served by a network node; UE2 is currently in a Radio Resource Control connected state; UE1 subscribes to a same PLMN as UE2; or the network node has provided relevant Access Stratum configurations to UE2. The method comprises transmitting a relay response message to UE1 based on a result of the determination.

The radio access network node operates to receive a message that includes information corresponding to either the RMUE device or the RLUE device having a connection that is established between the radio access network node and the corresponding one of the RMUE device or the RLUE device and that uses a first access and mobility management function, AMF. Network architecture, methods, and devices for a wireless communications network

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for exchanging Sidelink (SL) User Equipment (UE) context and configurations between a Master Node (MN) and a Secondary node (SN), e.g., in normal Multi-Radio Dual Connectivity (MR-DC) operations. In some embodiments, the SL UE context and configuration are exchanged between the MN and the SN via inter-node Radio Resource Control (RRC) messages. In this way, the two network nodes (the MN and the SN) are aware of the SL transmission going on under their coverage and can take the necessary actions to guarantee a stable and reliable SL connectivity.

Embodiments described herein relate to methods and apparatus for communicating between devices using sidelinks. There is provided a method performed by a transmitting device for transmitting a packet to a destination device. The method comprises duplicating the packet and adding header information to form duplicated modified packets, each having a respective duplication identifier. The present application generally relates to wireless communication technology. More particularly, it relates to a method and apparatus for controlling sidelink (SL) Quality of Service (QoS). According to one or more embodiments, a method for controlling sidelink (SL) Quality of Service (QoS) comprising the following steps carried out at a User Equipment (UE): a) generating QoS requirement from characteristics for one or more packets to be transmitted via a sidelink; b) determining bearer configuration corresponding to the QoS requirement; and c) performing SL transmission on the basis of the bearer configuration.

Method and apparatus for controlling sidelink QoS

Example wireless communication methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a relay device receives a first signal sent by a first device, where the first signal carries a plurality of bits. The relay device decodes the first signal to determine first information corresponding to each of a plurality of first bits. The relay device sends the first information in a second signal to a second device, so that the second device can use the first information to decode the first signal.

The method which may be performed by a first network node comprises determining, at a radio layer, a group header of a device group which comprises at least a terminal device.
