A stator of a rotating armature is provided which has: a stator core comprising laminated electromagnetic steel plates, the stator core including a plurality of teeth and slots formed on an inner periphery thereof; a first insulator and a second insulator inserted in the stator core; and windings wound around the teeth, wherein the first insulator includes a first comb-like engagement portion placed in the slots, the second insulator includes a second comb-like engagement portion placed in the slots, the first comb-like engagement portion includes a first tapered shape formed on a first distal end portion thereof, the second comb-like engagement portion includes a second tapered shape and a third tapered shape formed each on either side of a second distal end portion thereof in a radial direction of the stator core, and the first end portion and second distal end portion overlap with each other in the radial direction.

There is provided a stator that can suppress degradation in insulating performance and electrical strength performance, shorten a work time, and improve winding efficiency and heat radiation. The statorincludes a yoke partformed to be annular, a plurality of tooth partsprotruding from the yoke partin an inward direction perpendicular to an axial direction O of a rotor when the rotor is arranged in the yoke part, and protecting memberseach of which is attached to both end surfaces of the tooth partin the axial direction O to protect a corner of the tooth part. The protecting membershave a length in a slotbetween the tooth partsshorter than a half of an entire length of the tooth partin the axial direction.

A stator is provided. The stator includes a yoke part of an annular shape, tooth winding portions that protrude inward from the yoke part and around which an electric wire is wound, and a tooth end portion formed on an inward side of the tooth winding portion. The stator is formed by stacking steel plates in a direction corresponding to a rotational axis of a motor. The tooth winding portion is formed by stacking the steel plates having different shapes such that at an end portion in the stacking direction, thickness of the tooth winding portions gradually decrease toward the end portion in the stacking direction, and the yoke part and the tooth end portion include protruding portions formed by stacking the steel plates, such that the protruding portions protrude from the tooth winding portion in the stacking direction.
