Examples of optically clear fluid compositions are disclosed herein. In one example, the optically clear fluid composition includes an aqueous vehicle, an anionic polymeric binder dispersed in the aqueous vehicle, and wax particles incorporated in the aqueous vehicle. The anionic polymeric binder has a glass transition temperature (T) that is higher than 40 C, and a pH ranging from about 7 to about 11. The wax particles have a particle size ranging from about 25 nm to about 75 nm, and a melting temperature (T) ranging from about 100 C to about 150&#xb0; C. The optically clear fluid composition has a viscosity ranging from about 0.5 centipoise to about 90 centipoise.

A printing system includes a media transport system configured to transport a web of print media through a printing zone at a transport speed in a transport direction proceeding from up-web to down-web. A plurality of printheads each at least spanning the print zone and each configured to eject a radiation-curable ink. At least one PIN is unit positioned between two of the printheads relative the transport direction and configured to emit radiation onto the print media to partially cure the ink emitted by a printhead that is up-web from the PIN unit. A controller controls a power level of the PIN unit so that the radiative power level of the PIN unit decreases as the transport speed increases.

A blue ink for postage printing, which contains a blue pigment, a black dye, and an aqueous carrier, wherein the weight ratio of blue pigment to black dye is in the range of 50:1 to 2:1. The blue pigment is a copper phthalocyanine pigment or an anthraquinone pigment, and the black dye is an azo dye.

The present disclosure provides ink sets and related methods. An ink set can comprise an ink including an ink colorant and an ink vehicle, the ink devoid of metal salt; a treatment fluid including a latex, the treatment fluid devoid of thickener and colorant; and a fixer fluid including a precipitating agent, the fixer fluid devoid of colorant.

Ink set

An ink composition includes a colorant visible under visible light and a tagging composition, including a carrier and a detectable marker dispersed or dissolved in the carrier. The detectable marker is an isotope of an element, the isotope being present in the ink composition in a concentration ranging from about 1 parts per billion (ppb) to about 1000 ppb.

An inkjet ink set includes eleven colored inks and a surface enhancing ink. The eleven colored inks include a magenta ink, a light magenta ink, a yellow ink, a cyan ink, a light cyan ink, a medium gray ink, a light gray ink, a photo black ink, a red ink, a green ink, and a blue ink. The surface enhancing ink is configured to enhance gloss of an image formed with at least one of the eleven colored inks.

Inkjet ink set

An ink set includes a light gray ink, a medium gray ink, and a black ink. Each of the inks in the ink set includes a carboxylic polymer. The light gray ink has a carboxylic polymer load equal to or greater than about 4.27 wt %. The medium gray ink has a carboxylic polymer load ranging from about 2.47 wt % to about 3.47 wt %. The black ink has a carboxylic polymer load ranging from about 0.5 wt % to about 2 wt %.

Ink set and method for making the same

An ink set includes a red ink and a magenta ink. The red ink includes an effective amount of a red pigment having a predetermined red/green lambda cutoff, and the magenta ink includes an effective amount of a magenta pigment having a predetermined red/green lambda cutoff that is substantially similar to the predetermined lambda cutoff of the red pigment.

A system and associated methods for printing matte and glossy images on a glossy media substrate including an ink set that includes at least one pigmented ink-jet ink including an anionic surface charged pigment dispersed in a first liquid vehicle and a substantially colorless matting liquid with at least one matting agent dispersed or solvated in a second liquid vehicle. Additionally, when the pigmented ink-jet ink is printed on the glossy media substrate alone, the pigmented ink-jet ink has a glossy appearance, and wherein when the colorless matting liquid is overprinted or underprinted with respect to the pigmented ink-jet ink on the glossy media substrate, the pigmented ink-jet ink combined with the matting liquid exhibits a visually perceptible matte appearance compared to the glossy appearance of the ink-jet ink printed alone.

An ink set includes a light magenta ink and a dark magenta ink. The light magenta ink includes an effective amount of a pigment having a red/green lambda cutoff ranging from about 585 nm to about 600 nm, and reflecting at least about 14% of blue light at a wavelength of about 470 nm when measured at a density at which the light magenta ink provides a maximum magenta chroma. The dark magenta ink includes an effective amount of a pigment having a red/green lambda cutoff greater than or equal to about 605 nm.
