An object tracking method and an object tracking system are provided. The method includes: obtaining a first relative position vector from a first node to a second node at a first time point; obtaining a first position data of the first node and a second position data of the second node at a second time point; identifying a position variation vector from the first node to the second node based on the first position data of the first node and the second position data of the second node; and identifying a second relative position vector from the first node to the second node at the second time point based on the first relative position vector and the position variation vector. The method improves the tracking accuracy.

Object tracking method and system

The present disclosure relates to object detection and object distance determination by an assisted driving system of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving image data detected and detecting at least one object in the image data. Detecting includes determining a region of interest in the image, classifying the object and localizing the region of interest in the image data. The method may include determining a distance value for the at least one object, wherein the distance determination is determined based on the category determined, localization of the region of interest, and object size relative to the image data. The method may include outputting a distance value determination for the at least one object.

Vehicle system and method for detecting objects and object distance

A lane detection method and a lane detection system mounted on a first vehicle are provided. The methods includes: calculating on which lane a first vehicle is located based on vehicle-to-vehicle data received by the first vehicle from at least one neighboring vehicle, where the neighboring vehicle means another vehicle located within a vehicle-to-vehicle communication range of the first vehicle. The system may include: a communication device for receiving vehicle-to-vehicle data from at least one neighboring vehicle, and a processing device for calculating on which lane the first vehicle is located based on the vehicle-to-vehicle data received by the communication device, where the neighboring vehicle means another vehicle located within a vehicle-to-vehicle communication range of the first vehicle. Lane detection may not rely on marks on roads which are inherently not clear or blur due to a bad weather.

Lane detection

A method for communicating messages in a channel of a wireless communication network is provided. In the channel, successive cycles, each of which including a predetermined number of successive time slots, are defined. The method may include: a first node obtaining a first list of its neighboring nodes before a first qtime slot; broadcasting a first message in the first qtime slot; receiving acknowledge information from other nodes within the network for one cycle after the first qtime slot; obtaining a second list of its neighboring nodes after the first qtime slot; and determining whether qtime slots are proper for communicating messages by the first node by checking whether all nodes on both the first and the second lists have received the first message based on the received acknowledge information, each piece of which indicates whether a corresponding node has received the first message.

Time slot selection in wireless communication

A trajectory detection method and a trajectory detection system are provided. The method includes: receiving, on a first vehicle, from a second vehicle, dynamic data containing at least one dynamic feature of the second vehicle; detecting a relative position of the second vehicle with regard to the first vehicle using an object detection sensor mounted on the first vehicle; and generating a trajectory of the second vehicle based on the relative position and the dynamic data. Accuracy may be improved.

A method of resource allocation for Channel State Information (CSI) feedback is provided, which comprises the following steps of: configuring a downlink transmission approach and a feedback mode for each User Equipment (UE); allocating feedback resources required for CSI feedback by each UE based on the configured downlink transmission approach and feedback mode, such that different types underlying different feedback modes for a single UE will not collide with each other within one sub-frame; and notifying each UE of the corresponding configured downlink transmission approach and feedback mode and allocated feedback resources. Further, a method of Channel State Information (CSI) feedback is provided, which comprises the following steps of: feeding downlink CSI back to a base station (BS) based on a downlink transmission approach and a feedback mode configured by the BS; and solving, when different types underlying different feedback modes collide with each other within one sub-frame, the collision based on a collision solution rule.

Method of resource allocation for channel state information feedback and method of channel state information feedback

A method for extracting a message from a received signal frame is provided. The method includes: receiving a signal frame having N parts which are modulated with different power levels, where N is an integer equal to or greater than 2; demodulating and decoding the received signal frame to obtain N bit sequences which correspond to the N parts respectively; and forming a message based on the N bit sequences and a partition scheme according to which the message is partitioned into N message parts corresponding to the N bit sequences respectively.

Method and system for soft decision decoding are provided. A soft decision decoding method implemented by a receiver in a communication network may include: receiving a signal frame carrying a message through a communication network; obtaining data structure of the message; obtaining at least one bit of the message based on the data structure and known information; and decoding the received signal frame based on the at least one bit using soft decision decoding to obtain a decoding result. Decoding efficiency and accuracy may be improved.

One embodiment of the present disclosure sets forth a technique for enabling vehicular communication. The technique includes broadcasting, from a first communication device of a first vehicle and in a dedicated vehicular communication channel, a service advertisement message indicating that a service is available and can be provided through a temporary communication channel which is determined to be available. The technique further includes receiving from a second communication device of a second vehicle a request for the service in the dedicated vehicular communication channel. The technique further includes transmitting, in response to the request, content of the service in the temporary communication channel to the second communication device.

A Channel State Information (CSI) feedback method and a User Equipment (UE) are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps of: determining a set of coordinated Base Stations (BSs) participating multi-BS coordination, the set of coordination BSs containing a serving BS and at least one non-serving BS; for each BS in the set of coordinated BSs: calculating a Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR) for a channel between a UE and the BS based on a hypothetical BS coordination mode corresponding to the BS; and deriving a Channel Quality Index (CQI) corresponding to the calculated SINR and feeding back the derived CQI to the serving BS.

The method may include: selecting a sub-frame, transmitted in a first q th time slot, having a priority lower than that of the high priority message; transmitting in a first m th time slot after the first q th time slot a pre-emption message indicating that a second q th time slot, which is after the first m th time slot, will be occupied to transmit the high priority message; and transmitting in the second q th time slot the high priority message. By using the method and system, messages with higher priority can be transmitted timely even under very congested conditions.

Methods for broadcasting or receiving information through a channel which is dedicated for vehicular safety use are provided. And electronic devices are provided. One of the methods includes: an electronic device mounted on a vehicle obtaining lane information of the vehicle, where the lane information indicates on which lane the vehicle is travelling; and broadcasting the lane information of the vehicle through a channel which is dedicated for vehicular safety use. By employing the methods, electronic devices can broadcast their lane information, road information or layer information through a channel which is dedicated for vehicular safety use, which may meet requirements in some vehicular safety applications.

A control logic analyzer for controlling a plurality of devices is provided. The control logic analyzer comprises: a control logic decomposer configured to analyze control logics from different sources to identify devices involved in the control logics from the plurality of devices, and decompose the control logics into control instructions to be executed by the identified devices; and a potential conflict searcher configured to search a database for storing decomposed control logics and determine whether there is any potential conflict between the current control logic and the control logics previously stored in the database.
