A touch panel includes a substrate, touch signal lines, sub-pixels, touch electrode groups, and at least one common signal array. The touch signal lines and the sub-pixels are located on substrate. Each of the sub-pixels includes a switch element and a pixel electrode. The switch element is electrically connected to a corresponding scan line and a corresponding data line. The touch electrode groups include touch electrodes. The touch electrodes overlap the pixel electrodes of the sub-pixels. Each of the touch electrode groups is electrically connected to a corresponding one of the touch signal lines. The common signal array includes common electrodes. Each of the common electrodes overlaps at least one of the scan line and the data line. The number of the sub-pixels overlapped by the common signal array is greater than the number of the sub-pixels overlapped by each of the touch electrode groups.

Touch panel

A touch display panel includes a first sensing matrix and a second sensing matrix. The first sensing matrix includes a plurality of grid units and a first switch unit. The grid units are arranged in matrix, wherein each grid unit includes at least one first electrode. The first switch unit includes a plurality of switches, and the switches are disposed between adjacent grid units. Wherein, the control end of the switches is configured to receive a first controlling signal, and one end of each of the switches is configured to output a sensing signal. The second sensing matrix includes at least one second electrode, and is configured to receive a common signal. The second sensing matrix includes a plurality of opening units, and each opening unit overlaps with the open area of each pixel circuit in a vertical projection direction of the first substrate.

Touch display panel

A touch display panel is provided, including a common electrode ring, a first and a second common electrode pattern, pixel structures, an edge common signal line, and common signal lines disposed on a substrate. The first and second common electrode patterns and the pixel structures are located in a region surrounded by the common electrode ring. The first common electrode pattern is spaced from the second common electrode pattern by a gap. The first and the second common electrode patterns respectively overlap some of the pixel structures. The edge common signal line is disposed on the substrate, traces along the gap, and extends toward the common electrode ring to be electrically connected to the common electrode ring. The first common electrode pattern overlaps and is electrically connected to one common signal line. The second common electrode pattern overlaps and is electrically connected to another common signal line.

A touch display device has a display area and includes a substrate, induction electrodes, first switches, and a first driver. The induction electrodes are disposed on the substrate and located within the display area, and the induction electrodes are arranged into an array. Each of the first switches has a first gate. Two adjacent induction electrodes in a same column of the array are electrically connected to each other through at least one of the first switches. The first driver is electrically connected to the first gates of the first switches.

Touch display device and method for driving the same

A touch display apparatus includes a first transmission line, first and second signal lines, a touch signal line, a control signal line, first and second active devices, a first switch device, first and second pixel electrodes and a touch electrode. The first signal line is parallel and adjacent to the second signal line. The first active device is electrically connected to the first transmission line and the first signal line. The second active device is electrically connected to the first transmission line and the second signal line. The first switch device is electrically connected to the touch signal line and the control signal line. The first and second pixel electrodes are electrically connected to the first and second active devices respectively. The first and second pixel electrodes are not located between the first and second signal lines.

Touch display apparatus

A touch display panel includes a touch circuit, a touch electrode layer and a plurality of multiplexers. The touch electrode layer includes a plurality of first electrodes. Each of the multiplexers is electrically connected to the touch circuit and the first electrodes. Each of the multiplexers is configured to output a touch sensing signal, a first guarding signal and a second guarding signal according to a first guarding control signal, a second guarding control signal, a first touch control signal, and a second touch control signal.

Free form touch device

A touch panel including a first substrate, a plurality of touch electrodes and a plurality of active components is provided. The first substrate has an active region. The touch electrodes are disposed on the active region. Each of the touch electrodes includes a network structure having a solid portion and a plurality of opening portions defined by the solid portion. Each of the active components includes a semiconductor pattern substantially shielded by the solid portion of one corresponding touch electrode.

A touch display panel includes pixels, a first sensing line segment, a first connecting electrode and an insulating layer. The pixels are divided into a first group and a second group, and the first group includes a first region and a second region. Each pixel includes an active device, a pixel electrode and a common electrode. The first sensing line segment is disposed in a portion of the pixels of the first region. The insulating layer includes at least one first opening be adapted to expose a portion of the first sensing line segment or a portion of the first connecting electrode, and the first connecting electrode is connected to the portion of the first sensing line segment via the first opening to form a first sensing line. The common electrode at the first region is connected to the first connecting electrode, the common electrode at the second region is connected to the common electrode at the first region to form a first sensing electrode, and the common electrode at the second region is not directly connected to the first connecting electrode.

A touch-sensing liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween is provided. The active device array substrate includes a first substrate, a pixel array, a plurality of touch-sensing pads, and an electric field shielding layer. The pixel array is disposed on the first substrate and includes a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in an array, a plurality of scan lines, and a plurality of data lines. The touch-sensing pads are disposed on the first substrate. The electric field shielding layer is disposed on the pixel array and arranged between sub-pixels adjacent to each other, and the electric field shielding layer includes a pattern. The opposite substrate includes a common electrode and a plurality of touch-sensing protrusions disposed above the touch-sensing pads. Therefore, when the touch-sensing LCD panel is pressed, press mura is substantially eliminated.

Touch-sensing liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display

A method of fabricating a touch panel is provided. A substrate having a touch-sensing region and a peripheral region is provided. A touch-sensing circuit layer including first sensing series, and second meshed metal sensing pads is formed on the touch-sensing region of the substrate. An insulating layer having first contact windows is formed on the substrate to cover the touch-sensing circuit layer. The first contact windows expose a portion of the second meshed metal sensing pads. A plurality of second transparent bridge lines are formed on the insulating layer located in the touch-sensing region. Each second transparent bridge line is electrically connected to two adjacent second meshed metal sensing pads through two first contact windows. The second transparent bridge lines completely cover the portion of the second meshed metal sensing pads exposed by the first contact windows.

Method of fabricating touch panel

A pixel structure including a substrate, a color filter layer, a conductive light-shielding layer, a buffer layer, a scan line, a data line, an active device, and a pixel electrode is provided. The substrate has a pixel region. The color filter layer is disposed corresponding to the pixel region. The conductive light-shielding layer is disposed corresponding to the periphery of the pixel region. The buffer layer covers the conductive light-shielding layer and color filter layer. The scan line and the data line are disposed on the buffer layer. The active device is disposed on the buffer layer and electrically connected to the scan line and data line. The pixel electrode is disposed on the buffer layer and electrically connected to the active device, wherein an overlapping area between the pixel electrode and the conductive light-shielding layer constitutes a storage capacitor. A method for manufacturing the pixel structure is also provided.

Pixel structure and manufacturing method thereof

A touch display panel which includes a first substrate, a second substrate, at least a multi-sensing structure, a display medium and at least a display controlling device is provided. The multi-sensing structure is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and the multi-sensing structure includes a sensing upper electrode and a plurality of first sensing lower electrodes. The sensing upper electrode is disposed on the second substrate. The first sensing lower electrodes are disposed on the first substrate and electrically connected to each other in series, wherein a plurality of first sensing gaps are designed between the first sensing lower electrodes and the sensing upper electrode, and the first sensing gaps have different distances. The display medium is sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display controlling device is disposed on the first substrate for controlling the display medium.

Touch display panel, pixel structure and multi-sensing structure

An optical compensation film includes an optical film and a retardation film. The optical film provides a plate retardation in the direction of thickness (Rth), while the retardation film is disposed on the optical film. The retardation film includes first retarders and second retarders, wherein the first retarders are disposed on at least partial areas of the optical film and provide a first planar retardation (Ro); the second retarders are disposed on partial areas of the optical film but outside the first retarders and provide a second planar retardation (Ro) and the first planar retardation (Ro) is different from the second planar retardation (Ro). The above-mentioned optical compensation film is capable of compensating the displays for different display areas in a liquid crystal display panel. In addition, the present invention also provides a fabricating method of optical compensation film.
