The present invention provides a method for producing a coated paper, including steps of coating a base paper coated with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer with a coating liquid containing at least a pigment and an adhesive to produce a coated paper, and calendering the coated paper having a moisture content of not more than 5.5% by weight. The present invention also provides a method for producing a coated paper, including steps of coating a base paper having a moisture content of not more than 4% by weight with a coating liquid containing at least a pigment and an adhesive to produce a coated paper, and calendering the coated paper having a moisture content of not more than 5.5% by weight.

Method for producing coated paper

An additive for internal addition, which improves the paper qualities of a pulp sheet, such as stiffness and bulk which includes a polymer emulsion containing a natural cationic polymer (A) or synthetic cationic polymer (A') and polymer particles (B) containing vinyl monomer-derived structural units.

Paper quality improver

The invention relates to disintegrating particles formed by agglomerating primary particles at least part of which are insoluble in water, wherein the agglomeration of the disintegrating particles is disintegrated in an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble salt by lowering the concentration of the water-soluble salt. The invention also relates to a cleanser or detergent composition that includes the disintegrating particles, a water-soluble salt at a concentration lower than its saturated solubility, a surfactant and water. The composition has excellent physical (mechanical) cleanability and stability with time and gives users a pleasant feeling upon use. The composition does not cause damage to and itch on the skin because the disintegrating particles are disintegrated during cleansing and rinsing, and it is extremely good in rinsability.

An absorbent article comprises a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable leak-proof sheet and an absorbent layer disposed between the two sheets, said leak-proof sheet having on the outside surface a composite comprising a hydrophobic polymer having a glass transition temperature of zero degree centigrade or lower and foamed beads of a polymer. It is improved in the anti-slipping property, the leak-proof property and the permeability to moisture.
