Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide a switching apparatus including an energy storage changement mechanism that can realize the main shaft energy storage and direction changement by using only one solenoid. Furthermore, the switching apparatus can be adopted in both two position ATS and three position ATS to satisfy different application scenarios or different market requirements. In addition, all transfers can be achieved by independent manual and electric operation, and each transfer action only requires powering a single solenoid.

Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide a switching apparatus. The switching apparatus includes: a switching component including a first main shaft, which is adapted to selectively connect and disconnect at least one circuit in response to the rotation of the first main shaft; and an operating mechanism including a second main shaft for actuating the first main shaft to rotate via the second main shaft; wherein the switching component further includes a first interface, and the operating mechanism further includes a second interface, and the second main shaft to be detachably coupled to the first main shaft in response to the engagement of the first interface and the second interface.

Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide a slowing mechanism for a switching apparatus and a switching apparatus. The slowing mechanism includes: a shaft adapted to be rotatable in response to an operation of an actuator to drive a moving element of the switching apparatus; at least one slowing wheel fixed on the shaft and having a slowing contour; and a movable rocker engaging with the slowing wheel. The slowing wheel is adapted to cause the rocker to move abutting against the slowing contour on the slowing wheel in response to the rotation of the shaft, so as to slow down the rotation of the shaft. The slowing mechanism can slow down the operation of the moving element of a switching apparatus, while not impacting the switching performance and life time of the switching apparatus.

Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide an apparatus for use in a switch. The apparatus includes: a handle including a first slot; a mode button operable to change an operation mode of the switch, the mode button including a second slot; a slider coupled to the mode button and movable in a first direction in association with a movement of the mode button, the slider including a first block; a lever operable to be opened in a rotatable manner and including a pin, wherein when the mode button is set at a service position, the first block is received in the first slot to maintain the handle; and in response to the lever being opened in the rotatable manner, the pin is operable to pass through the second slot to prevent the movement of the mode button. Such apparatus herein provides a lock mechanism that may prevent mistake operation between different operation modes.

Switching apparatus and associated switch

Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide a switching apparatus. The switching apparatus includes: a handle shaft coupled to a handle and arranged rotatable in a circumferential direction in response to an operation to the handle; and a locking plate arranged movable in a first direction in association with a rotation of the handle shaft. The handle shaft and the locking plate are operable to limit the rotation of the handle shaft when the handle shaft arrives at an off position of the switching apparatus.
