In a method for monitoring a winding temperature of a winding of an electric machine powered by a converter, a heating power applied to the winding of the electric machine is determined and evaluated using a thermal model. A relative increase in a resistance of the winding, when the winding heats up, is determined from the heating power in comparison with a standard reference value for 20° C. winding temperature. The winding temperature is calculated from the relative increase in the resistance, and a warning signal and/or a switch-off signal is generated when a critical winding temperature value is exceeded.

Method for monitoring a coil temperature

A multi-pole component for an electric machine includes an upper side, a lower side, a first magnetic pole having a surface on the upper side, a second magnetic pole having a surface in a tangential direction adjacent to the first magnetic pole on the upper side and a soft-magnetic device. The soft-magnetic device has a recess between the first magnetic pole and the second magnetic pole. A vertical direction is directed from the upper side to the lower side at right angle to a tangential direction. The first magnetic pole has a permanent magnet with a magnetization in one direction, and the second magnetic pole does not have a permanent magnet.

A device comprising a base body is provided. A stator pack of an electric machine is connected to the base body by means of a connecting structure. The electric machine includes a rotor which cooperates electromagnetically with the stator pack and is rotatably mounted relative to the stator pack such that the rotor can rotate about the rotational axis. The stator pack is fixed by means of the connecting structure relative to the base body. The stator pack includes a plurality of stator sheets which are stacked on top of each other when seen in the direction of the rotational axis. Electromagnetically inactive first intermediate layers are arranged at least between certain stator sheets. The first intermediate layers are components of the connecting structure. Torque exerted upon the rotor by means of the stator pack is transferred in the connecting structure by means of the layers.

Device comprising an electric machine with a lightweight design

The embodiments relate to a rotary anode arrangement with a rotary anode, a rotor for driving the rotary anode and a stator, which exerts a torque on the rotor. The stator includes at least one coil for generating a first magnetic field and at least one permanent magnet for generating a second magnetic field. The embodiments also relate to an X-ray tube with the rotary anode arrangement. The embodiments offer the advantage that a high electromagnetic utilization is possible with a synchronous motor that is excited by permanent magnets.

An electric machine includes a primary section, a secondary section interacting with the primary section via an air gap during operation of the electric machine, and a first base element fastened to the secondary section. The base element includes a first pole shoe having a first end and a second end, with the second end of the first pole shoe facing the air gap, a second pole shoe having a first end and a second end, with the second end of the second pole shoe facing the air gap, and a permanent magnet disposed between the first pole shoe and the second pole shoe. The permanent magnet has a magnetization from the first pole shoe to the second pole shoe, and is formed by a matrix with a magnetically active material embedded therein.

An electrical machine includes a stator coupled to a machine frame and constructed to produce a magnetic field. A rotor which is connected to a shaft magnetically interacts with the stator and is separated there from by an air gap which is arranged such that the magnetic field within the air gap is directed essentially parallel to the shaft axis during operation of the electrical machine. Arranged between the rotor and the stator is an axial bearing which absorbs attraction forces acting between the stator and the rotor in a direction of the shaft axis. An elastic coupling mechanically couples the stator to the machine frame and is made less stiff than the axial bearing with respect to a force acting in the direction of the shaft axis, and constructed such that a force acting on the rotor in the direction of the shaft axis is able to cause the stator to be translated with respect to the machine frame in the direction of the shaft axis.

Bearing concept for segment motors

The invention relates to a short stroke linear motor. In order to improve the dynamics of such a short stroke linear motor, the primary part () of the motor is provided with a single-strand winding. The primary part () and the secondary part () have essentially the same pole pitch (tZ=tM). In this way, a very high motor torque is produced in a limited range of displacement. In order to be able to reach a plurality of working positions without an inactive intermediate position, a short stroke linear motor having a double-strand winding is additionally provided, both strands being operated at a phase difference of &#x3c;90&#xb0;. The pole pitch of the primary part and the secondary part are again essentially the same.

Linear motor with force ripple compensation

The aim of the invention is to create an inexpensive sensor system for a movable electric machine in order to determine positions, the sensor signal featuring zero crossings. Said aim is achieved by a sensor device () comprising a U-shaped yoke () and a sensor () which is disposed in/on the yoke () to detect a magnetic variable, for example. Magnets (to) that are or can be inversely magnetized are arranged at a free end of the yoke (). Opposite magnetic fluxes that can be detected by the sensor () can be generated in the yoke () in accordance with the position of the magnets (to) relative to one of the pole teeth () of a machine component. Approximately sinusoidal sensor signals can be generated therefrom without having to use several measuring sensors, e.g. in order to regulate a linear motor.

The direct drive further includes a spacer device to maintain a distance between an active region of the stator and an active region of the armature unit, thereby defining the air gap between the stator and the armature unit.
