A pivotable hose connector having a connector, an attachment assembly and a clamping nut. The connector housing has a crimp sleeve portion having a threaded outer surface and a lower housing cavity. The attachment assembly has a hose insertion member and a tubular coupling assembly. The hose insertion member has a hose barb and a central bore, and is positioned within the connector housing so that the crimp sleeve portion surrounds the hose barb. The body end is positioned within the lower housing cavity. The tubular coupling assembly is in rotative sealed engagement relative to each of the connector housing and the hose insertion member, and includes a tubular extension having an internal bore portion in fluid communication with the central bore. The clamping nut is threadedly engageable with the outer surface, and includes a bore extending therethrough that corresponds to the central bore.

A metallic product compartment of a single-use, self-heating container has melted onto one or more of its surfaces and re-solidified a shaped fusible material containing a reaction suppressant. A method of manufacturing includes providing the product container, positioning the fusible material, as a solid, in contact with a metallic wall of the container, heating at least a portion of the metallic wall with an electromagnetic induction heater to at least partially melt a portion of the fusible material, and enabling the melted portion of the fusible material to cool and re-solidify, thereby adhering the fusible material to the metallic wall.

A hose connector assembly configured to repair or connect hoses, such as hydraulic hoses including a crimping sleeve, a hose insert and a first and second clamping nut. The hose insert is positioned within the crimping sleeve. The first clamping nut extends about the crimping sleeve on one side with the second clamping nut extending about the crimping sleeve on the other side. Whereupon, the tightening of the first clamping nut directs the crimping sleeve toward the hose insert to clamp a hose therebetween, and the tightening of the second clamping nut directs the crimping sleeve toward the hose insert to clamp a hose therebetween. The hose insert having a bore extending therethrough so as to place the hose portions in sealed fluid engagement through the bore.

A method of remanufacturing a cylinder assembly that has a shaft body and a slidable cylinder assembly extending thereover. A plurality of seals extend between the shaft body and the slidable cylinder to provide a plurality of fluid-tight chambers. The shaft body has opposing ends with a first end cap positioned at a first end and a second end cap positioned at a second end thereof. The shaft body is permanently coupled to the end caps to preclude removal thereof. The method requires cutting the shaft body to remove the end caps, and subsequent reattachment.
