An archery bow can include a riser, a first limb coupled to the riser, a second limb coupled to the riser, a string extending between the first and second limb, and Non-Newtonian material (NN material). The NN material can be incorporated into at least one of the riser, the first limb, the second limb, the string, or another component of the archery bow. The NN material can have a material property (e.g., viscosity) which varies relative to a stress or force applied to the NN material. One or more portions of NN material can additionally, or alternatively, be incorporated into a projectile (e.g., an arrow) for an archery bow, an archery target or other archery equipment.

Materials for use in archery equipment

Various archery bows with abutting limb support are shown. One bow includes a riser that has a handle portion and first and second riser portions extending from the handle portion. The first riser portion has multiple limb contact surfaces that are spaced apart. The bow also has a first limb with a proximal end portion that has multiple external surfaces that abut and are articulable relative to the limb contact surfaces. This first limb is free-floating against the first riser portion. A second limb and a bowstring are connected to the bow as well. Tension in the bowstring is transferred to the first and second limbs. Limbs such as the first limb store energy across more of the length of the limb, have less concentrated stresses, and can be supported and dampened close to the proximal end of the limb.

Limb support apparatus and method

An archery bow is shown that has a modular hand grip. The bow may include a riser having an upper end, a lower end, and a grip attachment portion disposed between the upper and lower ends. The grip attachment portion may be positioned to be held by a hand of an archer and may have an opening receiving a grip insert. The grip insert may have a contoured surface configured to contact the hand of the archer and may have a protrusion configured to be received by the opening. The bow may also have upper and lower limbs each having proximal ends connected to respective ends of the riser and each having distal ends. A bowstring may extend between the distal ends of the upper and lower limbs. The modular hand grips may improve shot consistency and feel, reduce torque, and still allow the bow to be customized.

Adjustable grip insert

An arrow quiver includes a base member, a bow attachment member configured to mount the base member to an archery bow, at least one arrow mounting assembly, and a hood assembly. The at least one arrow mounting assembly includes a first arrow mounting portion mounted to the base member and configured to retain a first plurality of arrows, and a second arrow mounting portion releasably mounted to the first arrow mounting portion and configured to retain a second plurality of arrows. The hood assembly is mounted to the base member and configured to at least partially hood arrow points of the plurality of arrows retained by the at least one arrow mounting assembly.

Modular quiver apparatus and method

A bow sight includes a mounting assembly, a sight component, and an adjustment system. The bow sight is mounted to an archery bow with the mounting assembly. The adjustment system couples the sight component to the mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes at least one support rail and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket connects to the archery bow and is infinitely adjustable along a length of the at least one support rail to adjust a position of the sight component toward and away from the archery bow.

Dual bar adjustable bow sight

A bow sight including an adjustment system is described herein. The adjustment system may include an elevation adjustment mechanism and a windage adjustment mechanism. The user can adjust the elevation and/or windage of a sight component of the bow sight with the adjustment system. The adjustment system may be configured to allow the user to make very fine or micro-adjustments to the bow sight. The adjustment system may also be compact and easy to use relative to conventional bow sight adjustment systems.
