A lubricant pump () and a method thereof are disclosed. The lubricant pump () includes a pump base () and a reservoir housing (). The pump base () and the reservoir housing () define a lubricant reservoir for storing lubricant. One or more pump elements () extend at least partially into the lubricant reservoir. Heaters () are disposed on the pump base () proximate the pump elements (). The heaters () are configured to heat the local area surrounding the pump elements (), to thereby reduce the viscosity of the lubricant at the pump elements (). The heaters () are electrically connected to a thermal switch () to control activation and deactivation of the heaters (). With the lubricant pump () and the method thereof, the thermal switch () can control the heater () based on air temperature rather than the temperature of the lubricant, so the viscosity of lubricant is well controlled.

Heated lubricant pump

A piston for a single-stroke pump includes a pump rod, a seal ring extending about the pump rod and having a central bore, and a retaining device disposed on the pump rod and retaining the seal ring on the pump rod. In a forward stroke, the seal ring is in a first position whereby the seal ring sealingly engages the pump rod such that the seal ring and pump rod drive a fluid out of the pump chamber. When transitioning to a return stroke, the seal ring is maintained stationary relative to the pump cylinder until retaining device engages seal ring, such that seal ring is in a second position. With the seal ring in the second position, a flow path is opened between the seal ring and the pump rod, allowing fluid to flow into the pump chamber to prime the pump the next pump cycle.

Piston pump and seal ring

A reciprocating pump comprises a cylinder, an inlet check valve, a piston, an outlet check valve and a purge circuit. The cylinder has a first end and a second end. The inlet check valve is disposed proximate a first end of the cylinder. The piston is disposed within the cylinder between the inlet check valve and the second end. The outlet check valve is disposed within the piston. The purge circuit extends across the inlet check valve and the outlet check valve to fluidly couple the first end and the second end.

Reciprocating pump valve assembly with thermal relief

An end cap assembly for a reciprocating air motor comprises a pilot valve and an end cap body. The pilot has a valve stem. The end cap body comprises a central bore for receiving an air motor rod, a valve bore in which the pilot valve is disposed such that the valve stem extends through the end cap body, and an air port extending through the end cap body. The air port has a contour to direct air toward the valve stem.

Method to prevent debris build-up on reciprocating air motor pilot valves

A hose reel () is supported by a mounting bracket () which can be attached on a vertical or horizontal surface and allow for 180 degrees of motion to allow the hose reel () to automatically swivel in the direction the hose () is being pulled. The bracket mechanism () consists of integral mounting bosses () on the hose reel enclosures (), a mounting bracket (), a tube () and a constraint device () on the tube (). The mounting bosses () on the hose reel enclosures () are designed to orient and constrain the mounting tube () to allow for the tube to be installed from either end of the hose reel. The constraining device () on the tube () locks into an integral opening () in the mounting bosses () to prevent tube () displacement in either direction.
