A catalyst contains a metal oxide, and a molecular sieve, in a crystal form, having a topological pore structure. The metal oxide is centrally distributed on the surface of the molecular sieve. Grains of the molecular sieve are exposed to at least three families of crystal planes. The family of crystal plane with the largest pore size in topology is occupied by the metal oxide by no more than 30%, preferably no more than 20%, or no more than 10%.

Catalytic composition for producing olefins by catalytic cracking

A process for producing light olefins from methanol and/or dimethyl ether is disclosed. It comprises: (a) introducing a feed comprising methanol and/or dimethyl ether into a fluidized-bed reactor from its bottom, and contacting the feed in a dense phase zone and a transition zone of the fluidized-bed reactor with a catalyst, to form an effluent I comprising unreacted feed, reaction products and entrained solid particulate catalyst; (b) introducing a terminating agent consisting of water, alcohol, ether, hydrocarbons, and aromatic at upper portion of the transition zone and/or lower portion of a gas-solid separating zone of the fluidized-bed reactor into the effluent I, to give an effluent II; and (c) passing the effluent II into the gas-solid separating zone in upper portion of the fluidized-bed reactor, where gas-solid separation is accomplished to give a gaseous product stream and solid catalyst.

Process for producing light olefins from methanol or dimethyl ether

The present invention discloses a catalyst for toluene shape selective disproportionation, comprising: a) 45 to 95 wt % of ZSM-5 molecular sieve having an average particle size of from 0.3 to 6 &#x3bc;m and a molar ratio of SiOto AlOof from 20 to 120; b) 0.01 to 30 wt % of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Group IIB metals, Group IIIB metals, rare earth elements and Group VIII metals other than nickel, or oxide(s) thereof; c) 0 to 20 wt % of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Group VA metals, Group VIB metals and alkaline earth metals, or oxide(s) thereof; d) 1 to 25 wt % of a silica inert surface coating derived from an organopolysiloxane; and e) 1 to 50 wt % of a binder. The present invention further discloses a process for shape selectively disproportionating toluene into p-xylene, comprising contacting a reaction stream containing toluene with the catalyst for toluene shape selective disproportionation under toluene disproportionation conditions.

The present invention provides a process for increasing ethylene and/or propylene yield during conversion of oxygenates using a system comprising a reactor and a regenerator, wherein the reactor comprises a fluidized bed reactor and a riser reactor, which process increases ethylene and/or propylene yield by using a mixture of the deactivated catalyst from the fluidized bed reactor and the regenerated catalyst from the regenerator in the riser reactor for further cracking the Chydrocarbon stream separated from the product stream.

A process for producing lower olefins is disclosed. The technical problem is to overcome the defects presented in the prior art including high reaction pressure, high reaction temperature, low yield and selectivity of lower olefins as the target products, poor stability and short life of catalyst, and limited suitable feedstocks. The disclosed process, which is carried out under the conditions of catalytic cracking olefins and adopts as a feedstock an olefins-enriched mixture containing one or more C4 or higher olefins and optionally an organic oxygenate compound, comprises the steps of: a) letting the feedstock contact with a crystalline aluminosilicate catalyst having a SiO/AlOmolar ratio of at least 10, to thereby produce a reaction effluent containing lower olefins; and b) separating lower olefins from the reaction effluent; wherein, the reaction pressure is from &#x2212;0.1 MPa to &#x3c;0 MPa.

Process for producing lower olefins under negative pressure

The present invention provides a process for producing lower olefins by catalytic cracking a feedstock comprising an olefins-enriched mixture containing C4 or higher olefins and optionally an organic oxygenate compound. The technical problem mainly addressed in the present invention is to overcome the defects presented in the prior art including low yield and selectivity of lower olefins as the target products, and short regeneration period of catalyst. The present process, which is carried out under the conditions of catalytic cracking olefins and adopts as a feedstock an olefins-enriched mixture containing one or more C4 or higher olefins and optionally an organic oxygenate compound, comprises the steps of: a) letting the feedstock firstly enter a first reaction zone to contact with a first crystalline aluminosilicate catalyst having a SiO/AlOmolar ratio of at least 10, to thereby produce a first reaction effluent containing lower olefins; b) letting the first reaction effluent enter in turn at least one second reaction zone to contact with a second crystalline aluminosilicate catalyst having a SiO/AlOmolar ratio of at least 10, to thereby produce a second reaction effluent containing lower olefins; and c) separating lower olefins from the second reaction effluent; wherein the reaction temperatures in the first and second reaction zones are controlled. The present process, which desirably solves the above technical problem, can be used in industrial production of lower olefins.

Process for producing lower olefins by using multiple reaction zones

The present invention provides a process for producing lower olefins from methanol or dimethyl ether. The technical problem mainly addressed in the present invention is to overcome the defects presented in the prior art including high operation temperature, low yield and selectivity of lower olefins as the target products, and poor stability and short regeneration period of catalyst. The present process, which is carried out under the conditions of catalytic cracking methanol and dimethyl ether and the presence of diluting gas, and adopts as a feedstock methanol, dimethyl ether or their mixture, comprises the steps of: a) letting the feedstock firstly enter a first reaction zone to contact with a first crystalline aluminosilicate catalyst having a SiO/AlOmolar ratio of at least 10, to thereby produce a first reaction effluent containing lower olefins; b) letting the first reaction effluent enter in turn at least one second reaction zone to contact with a second crystalline aluminosilicate catalyst having a SiO/AlOmolar ratio of at least 10, to thereby produce a second reaction effluent containing lower olefins; and c) separating lower olefins from the second reaction effluent; wherein the weight ratio of the diluting gas to the feedstock is 0.01-6:1, while controlling the reaction conditions.

Process for producing lower olefins from methanol or dimethylether

A method for preparation of ethylene and propylene by catalytic cracking using a fluid-bed catalyst. The main technical problems to be solved are a relatively high reaction temperature, and low activities and poor selectivities of the catalyst at a low temperature, during the reaction for preparing ethylene and propylene by catalytically cracking naphtha. The fluid-bed catalyst is a composition of the chemical formula MoVABCObased on stoichiometric ratio. The present invention relates to a process for the selective disproportionation of toluene and the disproportionation and transalkylation of toluene and C aromatics to mainly solve the problems in the prior arts of the great amount of recycle stream, high energy consumption or harsh requirement for the reaction feedstocks. The present invention has better solved these problems by the technical solution using a process for selective disproportionation of toluene to produce mixed xylenes containing a high concentration of p-xylene, and subsequent disproportionation and transalkylation of C aromatics and toluene to produce benzene and the mixed xylenes which are in the thermodynamic equilibrium. The process is applicable to the industrial production.
